💚 Yesterday we shared a Travel Checklist to help make your trip easier. Today, we’d like to remind you of something just as important…

You are part of the journey too.

As a care partner, it’s easy to focus on every detail for the person you love and forget about yourself. But caring for yourself isn’t selfish—it’s one of the best ways to care for someone else.

While you’re traveling, remember to:
✨ Take a few deep breaths.
☕ Enjoy a quiet cup of coffee.
💧 Stay hydrated.
🚶 Slow down when you need to.
❤️ Accept help when it’s offered.
📸 Laugh, take pictures, and make memories together.

The destination matters, but so does how you feel along the way.

Take care of yourself, too. You deserve to enjoy the journey.

💙 When the care partner feels supported, everyone travels better.

✈️ Traveling with a movement disorder takes a little extra planning—but it should never keep you from making meaningful memories.

We created this simple Travel Checklist to help care partners and their loved ones feel more prepared, confident, and comfortable every step of the journey.

From packing essentials to navigating the airport, choosing the right hotel, and caring for yourself during the trip, these small reminders can make traveling safer, easier, and more enjoyable.

💙 Save this checklist, share it with someone who may need it, and remember: the best trips aren’t about doing more—they’re about enjoying the moments that matter most.
