🚨 Addressing Cancer Pain Early Enough?
Uncontrolled cancer pain doesn't just affect quality of life. It can limit functional status, increase opioid requirements, and interfere with a patient's ability to tolerate and continue cancer treatment.
I'm excited to host an educational dinner in Tampa to discuss advanced interventional strategies for cancer-related pain, drawing on my experience treating complex oncology patients at HOPE Pain Relief.
We'll cover:
🔹 Tumor Ablation (OsteoCool™) – Targeting painful bone metastases
🔹 Kyphoplasty – Treating painful vertebral compression fractures
🔹 Intrathecal Drug Delivery (Pain Pumps) – Improving pain control while potentially reducing systemic opioid exposure
🔹 Spinal Cord Stimulation – Addressing refractory neuropathic pain, including chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy
The goal is more than pain relief: improving function, reducing medication burden, enhancing quality of life, and helping patients remain on track with their oncology treatments.
