Helping doesn’t have to mean doing it for them. 💙 Sometimes, the right amount of support is exactly what helps a child build toward greater independence. 🌱

In ABA, support might look like a visual cue, a gesture, a verbal reminder, or more direct assistance. As a skill develops, those prompts can be gradually reduced when appropriate—a process called prompt fading.

The goal isn’t just completing the task today. It’s building skills that can help a child do more on their own tomorrow. ❤️💙

Small steps. Growing independence. Brave Steps.

Progress is built through consistency, collaboration, and people who care about making a meaningful difference.

Here’s to the professionals helping create brighter futures, one step at a time. 🌱

Every child has their favorites—the songs on repeat, the must-have snacks, the toys that go everywhere, and the characters they can’t get enough of. 💙✨

Getting to know what a child enjoys can help us discover opportunities for connection, engagement, and motivation along the way.

Parents & caregivers, we want to hear yours! 👇
🎵 Favorite song
🧸 Favorite toy or activity
🍎 Favorite snack
📺 Favorite show or character

Drop their current lineup in the comments! ❤️💙

A skill learned in one setting doesn’t always automatically show up everywhere else—and that’s where generalization comes in. 🌱💙

In ABA, we can help children practice meaningful skills with different people, during different activities, and across everyday routines and environments.

Because the goal isn’t just success during a therapy session. It’s helping skills become useful where they matter most: everyday life. ❤️

Small steps. Real-life progress. Brave Steps.

Every child’s progress looks different—and sometimes the moments that mean the most are the ones that seem the smallest. 💙

Maybe it was communicating a need, trying something new, navigating a transition, completing part of a routine, or doing something independently for the first time. 🌱

Parents & caregivers, finish the sentence:
“I knew my child was making progress when…” ✨

Share your moment below so we can celebrate those wins together! ⬇️

The same behavior can happen for very different reasons. 🔎

That’s why, in ABA, we don’t look at behavior in isolation—we look at the context and patterns surrounding it.

What happened right before? What changed afterward? When is the behavior more or less likely to occur?

These observations can give the clinical team valuable information and help guide individualized support. 💙

Because understanding behavior isn’t about guessing the “why”—it’s about observing the pattern, understanding the context, and supporting the child.

Sometimes the best way to build connection is to start with what already matters to them. 💙

Follow their interests. Join their play. Notice what makes them light up. ✨

When we take the time to meet children where they are, we create opportunities for trust, shared engagement, communication, and learning to grow naturally. 🌱

Because sometimes, connection starts simply by joining their world.

Every child has their own preferences—and sometimes those preferences change from day to day! 💙

Bubbles or music? 🫧🎵
Movement or a cozy space? 🛝🧸
Creative activities or a favorite toy? 🎨🧩
Together time or quiet time? 🤗🌿

Learning what a child enjoys can help us better understand what feels motivating, comforting, and meaningful to them. ✨

Now it’s your turn! Which would your child choose? Drop their picks in the comments! ⬇️
