Sonoran Soulfire is a five day transformational retreat held in the wild beauty of Aravaipa Canyon, woven through ceremony, creative practice, embodiment, nature, and sisterhood.

✨ Medicine Doll Workshop + Ceremony ✨
Join us for a full-day workshop to enter into sacred relationship with the art of doll-making as ritual.

Through guided, intuitive, hands-on practice, you will craft a personalized Medicine Doll using the ancient technique of needle felting with wool, cloth, and natural adornments. Each doll becomes a vessel of story, intention, and ancestral connection—an embodiment of what longs to be seen, honored, and held.

This journey will be guided by Amanda Ma of The Creative Medicine Path.

No experience is necessary! All materials provided.

🌿 Your Medicine Doll can serve as a spiritual companion:
A guide in times of transition
A reminder of your inner truth
A symbol to honor ancestors or future selves
A keeper of prayers, intentions, or offerings

✨ This workshop also coincides with Día de los Mu***os, a time when the veil between realms is said to be thin and our connections with the unseen and our ancestors are especially close. In this spirit, our day together becomes a threshold where each doll can emerge as a keeper of your deepest medicine.

Admiring these beautiful Medicine Dolls made over the summer. Can you believe none of these women had any previous experience?

Come be initiated into the path of the Medicine Doll Maker at our next gathering on Sunday, November 1st at The Restoration Room in Tucson.

We’ll spend the day in ceremony and creation alongside other like minded women, working intuitively with wool and natural adornments as our dolls slowly come into being. As you create, your doll becomes infused with the medicine and reminders you need to carry forward, becoming a companion you can return to long after our circle closes.

No experience is needed. Just a willingness to work with your hands, listen inward, and say yes to what wants to emerge.
