Looking for a nursing assistant/HHA for our Adult Medical Day Program, to assist our participants with all activities of daily living as well as assist with activities when necessary.

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Job Title: ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT for Adult Medical Day Care of medically high functioning intellectually & developmentally disabled clientele
We are looking for a positive & compassionate activities assistant to implement and coordinate fun & engaging daily programs for our adults; who are medically developmentally & intellectually disabled. To succeed as an activities assistant, you should strive to utilize adaptive & engaging activities that will motivate them to take part in to the best of their abilities. You should be observant, driven, creative, and caring.
Qualifications
• Pleasant & outgoing personality
• Ability to stand able to stand up to 7 hours a day, lift up to 50 lbs. or meet other physical demands
• Adaptability of (programs, ideas, operations, etc.)
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Compassionate & attentive
• Understanding of developmental and intellectually disabled
• Able to acknowledge special needs of our population
• Positive attitude/Team player
• Initiates & motivates
• works with sense of urgency
