Anyone else enjoy the sauna? Or just endure it because of the benefits? 😉

It has been difficult for me to exercise consistently due to inflammatory issues and pain.
I have been trying to just be kind to my body and really listen to what it needs.
And do what I can when I feel good.

I have been enjoying the indoor sauna at the gym, on its own or after a workout, Lately, after swimming laps 💦

It has been so helpful for my pain.

The lack of in person community and the isolation people have experienced over the last 18 months has weighed heavy on my heart and I know it has affected many physically, emotionally and mentally.

"the process of determining which disease or condition explains a person's symptoms"...

This word brings about mixed emotions for me. 😐

For about 9 years I have experienced symptoms that have gone unexplained or even dismissed. I have been treated for symptoms without any root cause explained.

While I might have received a medication for a symptom, I was given no explanation, reason or possible root cause. So I was left frustrated, confused and often times left feeling like it was all in my head or just "my normal"

I have always leaned toward the more holistic route when it came to my family's health, but also definitely open to the modern options available if we really need them.

About 5 years ago I decided inflammation must be at the very least a large contributing factor and ate a strict anti inflammatory diet along with high quality whole food supplements and this was also when I first began to use Essential Oils for more than just aromatherapy. "Enters doterra" 😉 🌱

I had so much success with this lifestyle I have continued down this path and also made it my life's work to educate and empower others with their own health.

Even though I had most of my symptoms pretty under control & managed. I would still have occasional flare ups of specific symptoms, definitely trigger related, and had questions about whether there was something more to know.
Over the last year and a half my diet has not been as strict and I had fallen off track with a lot of my routines. (And if I'm being honest, I was also not managing my sleep & stress the way I know I should)
I believe this resulted in a return of symptoms, more extreme, more often and progressed to the point I went to the Dr 😕

2 weeks ago I was diagnosed with RA, Rheumatoid Arthritis. An autoimmune disease where the body's immune system attacks its own tissue, affecting many joints and In severe cases, it attacks internal organs.

So again, mixed emotions......
I am relieved to finally have an answer so I can treat more intentionally, but it is not an answer I want and am taking time processing & praying about it 💜 🙏

1/2 cup frozen organic spinach
1/2 cup frozen organic blueberries
1 whole frozen ripe organic banana
1-2 scoops collagen, chia or h**p seeds, or your choice protein
Essential Oils

Getting ready to march for child abuse and s*x trafficking awareness. Probably the most underrated issue in our country. At least 1 in 10 children are s*xually abused and over 60% of cases go unreported. Nearly 70% of all reported s*xual assaults are children under the age of 17. 1 in 4 s*x trafficking victims are children. 46 children are sold into s*xual slavery every day. S*x trafficking is most prominent in... the USA. More than 2/3 of the victims in the US are from the US.
Those are just a very few facts to hopefully make it clear as to why this is such an important issue. There is so much more to this that most of us are completely oblivious to.

This map is a pandemic, but it's not COVID and this post isn't just going to explain it, I'm going to tell how how to help.

This displays human trafficking across the U.S. IT IS SHOWING YOU VISUALLY WHERE HUMAN BEINGS - INCLUDING YOUNG CHILDREN, TODDLERS AND EVEN NEWBORNS - ARE BEING ABUSED, EXPLOITED, ENSLAVED, TORTURED AND KILLED!

800,000 (yes that number is right) children go missing IN THE USA every year.

I'm so happy people are waking up but WHY AREN'T WE TALKING MORE ABOUT THIS ?

I have decided that today is the day I stop being silent and wondering how this can change. A friend posted she took these steps and it completely motivated me to also. I have been a huge fan and donating to O. U. R. For a few years now and am such a fan of their partnership with doterra.
Hearing Tim Ballard speak in person at different events rocked my world and I'll never be the same. Here are the steps I took today so far. I invite you to join me. The children represented by the dots on that map need you.
