🎃🩺 A SPOOKTACULAR DAY AT OZARKS HEALTHCARE! 👻

Today, we welcomed 85 Willow Springs 8th graders for OZH’s FIRST-EVER Halloween Escape Room Challenge!

Students worked together to solve the mystery of Patient 1027 while exploring six healthcare departments, completing hands-on challenges, and learning how healthcare professionals work together to care for patients.

💚 A HUGE thank you to our amazing Laboratory, Infection Prevention, Respiratory Therapy, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Emergency/Nursing teams for bringing this experience to life. We also appreciate the Willow Springs teachers and staff for helping make the day a success.

This is what Inside Track is all about—introducing students to healthcare careers in fun, meaningful, and memorable ways.

We had an absolute blast and hope our future healthcare professionals did too. 🩺💚

💚 Out and about with Ozarks Healthcare!

We’re spending the morning at the Willow Springs Career Fair, sharing all the different paths a career in healthcare can take!

I’m excited to have Stacey Minnich, Willow Springs Practice Manager, joining me today as we connect with students, answer questions, and share the many opportunities available through Ozarks Healthcare and our Inside Track Career Pathways program.

We were honored to have Mr. Nathan Fleming's HBS PLTW class on campus last week! 🏥🩻🔬

Students were able to tour our radiology department and learn about careers in ultra-sound and X-ray from our staff and Calli VanRanken, Inside Track-Career Pathways Coordinator. It's always an honor to share learning opportunities with our local students! 💚

I'm excited to introduce myself as Ozarks Healthcare's Career Pathways Coordinator! 💚

Before joining Ozarks Healthcare, I worked at neighboring Dora R-III School District as a teacher and rootEd Advisor, helping students explore college, technical training, career pathways, and what came next after high school.

That experience is a big part of what drew me to this role.

Through the Inside Track Career Pathways Program, I now have the opportunity to continue that work by connecting students, employees, and community members with healthcare career exploration, education and training opportunities, job shadowing, scholarships, and pathways into the workforce.

I'm also incredibly grateful to Sammi Radosevich, who spent the past several years developing Inside Track, building relationships throughout our region, and creating a strong foundation for this program. I'm excited to build on the work she started and continue to grow those opportunities.

Coming from a rural school district, I've seen firsthand what can happen when someone is given an opportunity, connected with the right people, and shown a path forward.

I'm excited for what's ahead and for the opportunity to help more people discover a future in healthcare right here at home.
