Instead of telling a new mama "let me know if you need anything," try these. 🌿 When you're in the newborn fog, it's hard to know what you need, let alone ask for it. Specific offers take the guesswork and the guilt out of accepting help. Offer to drop off dinner and ask for her favorite meal. Pick up her groceries. Bring her a favorite coffee. Hold the baby for an hour or two so she can nap. Tackle a few chores. Or simply ask how she's really coping and whether she'd like to talk. Support that's specific is support that actually gets used. Save this for the next time someone you love welcomes a baby, and share it with someone who needs it! 💚
