Mission: The objectives of Post #60 are: • To provide individuals a foundation of first aid principles and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care • To learn the role of first responders at the unit, local community, county, and state levels. • To assist at community events and, when appropriate, during CCMICU disaster response efforts. To that end, our Post conducts activities related to Emergency Medical Services and first aid, amateur radio, and outdoor skills. It is our belief that every citizen can benefit from skills in these areas no matter what the setting -- in their own personal life or in the greater community. With the wide range of professional experience from our members and adult volunteers, we are also able to offer Explorers a window not only into medical careers but also into various technical fields and local nature conservation efforts.
