What actually happens on an overnight doula shift? 🤍

Short answer: You sleep. Real sleep. In your own bed.

Here's what a 9pm–7am shift with me looks like:

🌙 9:30pm - I arrive, we chat about how the day went, and you head to bed (yes, really)

🌙 10pm - Baby's bedtime routine: swaddle, sound machine, down for the first stretch

🌙 All night - Every wake-up is mine. Feeds (bottle, or I bring baby to you if you're nursing), diapers, soothing back to sleep

🌙 While baby sleeps - Bottles washed + sterilized, pump parts cleaned, laundry folded, nursery reset

🌙 7am - You wake up rested to a clean kitchen and a detailed log of the whole night: feeds, diapers, sleep stretches

You don't just survive the newborn phase. You get to enjoy it.
