Toddler: loves broccoli on Monday.
Toddler on Tuesday: betrayed by broccoli. 🥦

One day they're eating everything on the plate, the next day it's ""nope."" It's a super common stage, and it doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong.

The good news: you don't have to figure it out alone. We have a pediatric dietitian on staff who helps families make mealtimes feel calmer, one small step at a time.

Ready for some support? Call us or book online at [link in bio].

If this is your house, you're not alone.

Apple season is here! Christine, our pediatric dietitian, shares why apples are worth it (fiber!), how to pick and store them, which apple to use for baking and which for snacking, and easy ways to use them with no recipe needed. For little eaters, seeing apples raw, cooked, and grated is all practice. Under 4? Grate, slice very thin, or cook until soft. Save this for your next trip to the store.

What's your favorite apple?

You don’t need a gym membership (or an hour you don’t have) to move more!

N.E.A.T - Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis - is all the movement that happens outside of a “ workout”
walking to your car, doing the dishes, gardening, chasing your kids or pets around. It adds up more than you’d think.

Swipe through for a few easy ways to work more of it into your day - no plan, no pressure, just movement that fits your life (and ideally feels good, too).

SIBO isn’t managed by trial-and-error elimination - it’s managed by testing, treatment, and individualized nutrition therapy.

Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth is diagnosable via breath testing and responds to targeted antimicrobial treatment (rifaximin or herbal protocols) plus addressing the underlying driver - motility, post-infectious IBS, structural factors. Diet plays a supporting role, not the lead one.

Swipe through for what the evidence actually says about which foods tend to worsen symptoms during a flare, which support relief, and why long-term restriction isn’t the answer once symptoms improve. →

If you’ve cut out entire food groups on your own and aren’t sure what’s actually a trigger, that’s exactly what a structured reintroduction - done with support, is for.

Lisa is a licensed clinical social worker with 15+ years of experience as a therapist. She’s worked with clients on depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship and parenting challenges, career stress, and grief and loss. Her background also includes working with teens navigating drug and alcohol use, and as a behavioral health provider supporting people managing chronic pain and other health conditions.

Lisa has a particular passion for women’s health, including supporting couples through infertility and the medical system that comes with it.

Her style is warm and interactive. She combines cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approaches, practical coping skills, and - for clients who want it - space for spirituality in the work. She also collaborates directly with our dietitians and medical providers, so your care fits into one plan instead of several disconnected ones.

Lisa is fluent in both English and Spanish. Outside the therapy room, you’ll find her hiking, running, teaching, or with her nose in a book.

Starting therapy takes real strength, and Lisa is looking forward to supporting you on that journey!

Reach out via our website to book a session with Lisa.
