Did you know that from around 28 weeks, sleeping on your side (especially your left side) is the safest and most comfortable position for you and your baby?

Here is why it makes such a big difference:

• Boosts blood flow: Laying on your side keeps the weight of your growing bump off the major blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to your baby.
• Reduces swelling: It helps your kidneys clear out waste and fluids, which can ease that late-pregnancy swelling in your feet and ankles.
• Better rest: Hugging a pillow between your knees and under your bump takes the pressure off your lower back.

If you wake up on your back in the middle of the night, don't panic! Just gently roll back onto your side and get back to dreaming. 💤

Protect yourself/protect your loved ones! Drive thru flu clinics will be in Winfield 10/14 from 10-5 @ fairgrounds and behind the City-Cowley County Health Dept on 11/2 from 2-4! Make an appt or just swing by - bring your ID & ins card. No insurance? Bring your ID & they will work with you!!

Our Drive-Thru Flu Clinic at the Ag Building is almost over! Stop by before 5 pm to get your flu shot!

Getting your yearly protection from the flu has never been easier. There's no appointment necessary, just drive up, fill out a little paperwork, get your shot, and you're all set!

Just bring your photo ID and insurance card. Flu, Covid, & RSV shots will be available.
