Wiscasset Family Health is so lucky to have lunch catered by Pam Solow aka Grammi Pammy. She prepared a beautiful spread for the staff today. She also surprised all of us with this hero’s banner. We appreciate the support the community has given us during these confusing and ever changing times. Thank you Pam from the bottom of all of our hearts.
An update from the doc!!

Amanda Kellett is amazingly talented and so smart, always making our patients the center of everything.
A message from Dr. Linville, owner and physician at Wiscasset Family Health.
Today our staff got to enjoy the most amazing lunch together, but distant. Last week Ed Colburn from the Water St. Kitchen and Bar had messaged me wanting to do something to give back to the community. He chose our office to provide a generous lunch for the entire staff during these trying times. What an amazing welcoming into the neighborhood and we thank Ed, Shane and Matt for their time and incredible generosity. Everything was delicious, made exactly to order and delivered with a smile.
Like many other business owners Ed and his team have adapted to no patrons in house, they still offer take out and some deliveries within 5 miles. Consider them for lunch or dinner, you will not be disappointed.
As you can see Sarah Robey is adapting to telehealth medicine. Dr. Linville captures the perfect shot as she embraces the transition from in person visits to face to face visits virtually. Sarah said she loves doing telemedicine while doing her part in flattening the curve. She would like to remind everyone to cover your coughs, don’t touch your face, wash your hands frequently and stay home!
During this complicated time, we know you may need help with managing your health care as well as stress and other mental health issues. You may also have social needs like making sure you and your family has enough food. Our team is here to help.
Please call the office if you have questions about your ongoing medical condition, we offer telehealth services by video or phone consults in some cases. Please call us today if you have any concerns about social distancing.

Wiscasset Family Health continues to see patients in the office to provide the much needed care to our community members for well visits.
We are committed to protecting patients and staff and will continue to screen for symptoms of illness prior scheduling in person visits. For those that are symptomatic telehealth over the patient portal and telephone consults are an option.
If you would like to donate new and unused supplies such as N95 masks, paper masks, gowns, gloves, or protective eye gear please reach out to Shelley Strozier, practice manager by emailing [email protected] or call her at the office at 207-882-6008.
Staff safe and be well.
Wiscasset Family Health at 35 Water Street is taking new patients! We have to restrict in person visits to routine office visits for things that are not respiratory, but we can start to establish care with new patients in person or through our portal using telehealth. Please contact us for more details.
We are also a state recognized Opioid Health Home, meaning we run an addiction recovery program. We have openings for both Mainecare and self - pay patients at this time. Please contact us for more information. If you are interested in recovery and have private insurance, please call us for more details.
Some good resources for food support for our community children.
Here's what we know of so far!
Another reminder that for the safety of our patients and staff we have decided to cancel our open house and support social distancing.
We continue to stay informed and will follow guidance from state and government officials.
We have taken several precautions in the practice to help stop the spread of germs such as removing magazines from waiting rooms and exam rooms as well as toys. In addition to identifying isolation space when sick patients need to be seen and as always cleaning each room after each use.
We will continue to screen all callers for travel history and symptoms of illness. We cannot stress enough how important it is to stay home if you’re sick.
Please do not walk into our practice sick without calling ahead. If you need to be seen and you are sick, calling ahead allows us to prepare for your visit.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time, we appreciate you keeping other patients and our staff safe.
Wiscasset Family Health will be cancelling our open house on Monday March 16th, 2020. We are still happy to walk interested parties through the new clinic space between 3p-6p.
The latest update from the CDC is that there are no confirmed cases of COVID19 in Maine. We would like to be as cautious as possible, so we will continue to deep clean rooms between patients, like we always do and make an effort to limit the rooms we use for respiratory illness.
That being said, if you think you have been exposed to or identify with any of the concerning symptoms of fever, cough, please call us to review your symptoms first. We may tell you to call and go to the nearest urgent care or emergency room. We do NOT have access to testing in house at Wiscasset Family Health.
Please avoid walking into our office sick. Please call first.

Wiscasset Family Heath Rides the Tide Up Water Street
Wiscasset Family Health is excited to announce its relocation to 35 Water Street. Beginning Monday March 16th they will start seeing patients in a newly renovated office space. 35 Water strews between Sarah’s Pizza and Water Street Kitchen & Bar overlooking the Sheepscot River. Continued growth and a desire to participate in the revitalization of downtown Wiscasset spurred the practice to move from its original location and home of the past 40 years at 66 Water Street.
Physician and practice owner Dr. Linville purchased the building in the fall of 2019 with the very patient help of Nancy Carleton of William Raveis Real Estate. Tobias Gabranski, architect and SJ Wood Construction Company of Winthrop have transformed the existing space into a modern healthcare facility. There will be an open house on March 16th from 3-6pm. All community members, patients and collaborators are invited to come explore the new location of this patient centered medical home.
Serving the mid coast area, Wiscasset Family Health is an independently owned primary care practice. Dr. Cortney Linville, Sarah Robey, PA-C, Mary Rafter, FNP, Sarah Hurley, PA-C and Jesse Cheney, PA-C work collaboratively with staff to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our patients. Services include comprehensive primary care, immunizations, osteopathic manipulation, psychiatric care, pediatrics, transgender medicine, contraceptive access, dermatologic evaluation, minor surgical services, and substance abuse and recovery programs. New patients are welcome to contact our office at 207-882-6008 or visit the website for more detailed information.
35 Water Street has a long history in the town of Wiscasset. Historically a bustling, shipping port, the Sherman family opened Wiscasset Lumber at this waterfront location in 1918. For nearly 70 years the family were stewards of a vibrant lumber business before the space was transformed into the Ports of Wiscasset retail space in the mid 1980’s. A plethora of businesses have since called this address home including a book store, travel agency, naval architecture design, custom sewing & upholstery, an engineering firm and a rural business and development agency. Wiscasset Family Health will continue the legacy of community engagement and service that has long been the foundation of this address.
“We are excited to be putting roots down on the south side of route one.” Says office manager Shelley Strozier. “We will miss some of the unique character and history the original farmhouses have offered our practice. As with many families- we have out grown our first home. We look forward to settling into our new space, and continuing the personalized and evidence based care that keeps our community thriving for generations to come.”
Wiscasset Family Health is MOVING (but not very far)!!! After a lot of consideration we have concluded that the most effective way to continue to serve our community and keep up with an ever growing practice is to relocate. In March we will be opening at 35 Water Street. More details to follow!
