Medical advocacy is our specialty as RNDoulas🤰👩🏼‍⚕️

We bring 16yrs of nursing experience, lactation specialty, pelvic floor/core training, and nutrition knowledge into our holistic birth Doula approach to give you a completely rounded experience where you can have it all🥰

No need to struggle between choosing the doula who supports medication free birth and the one who supports an epidural. We have happily supported Moms through natural deliveries and Moms who know they want an epidural, Moms who want to vaccinate and ones who don’t. It’s not our job to judge you or make decisions for you. It’s our job to support you completely, judgement free, while making sure your decisions are accurately informed based on evidence 🤓

With us you will feel safe and supported knowing you have a team of nurses who will provide you with evidence based information, who you can call if something feels off or you just need to talk, and who will support you NO MATTER WHAT decisions you make💞

This is what happens when a community shows up for a Mom🤍

Meet Krista.

Krista has been showing up for herself and for our little community since the beginning. She’s been coming to our Mommy Meetups, learning, connecting, asking questions, and preparing for this season of motherhood. Krista had a physically and emotionally difficult first delivery and she knew she needed this time to be different.

But accessing the level of support she deserved wasn’t financially possible for her.

So we got to do something really special.

Over time, our friends and family have contributed to a small pro bono fund that allows us to provide services to moms who otherwise wouldn’t be able to access them🫶

Krista received our RNDoula package at no cost to her.

She received education and support throughout pregnancy, an RNDoula available to her during birth, and continued support as she transitioned into postpartum and life with her new baby while also having a toddler at home.

And THIS is what those contributions made possible.

It also made something very clear to us:
We want to be able to do this for more moms.
A lot more moms.

Because access to quality pregnancy, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, and newborn support shouldn’t come down to whether a family can afford it.

When moms have access to education and individualized support, they have someone to answer their questions, help them understand their options, prepare them for what’s ahead, and walk alongside them during one of the biggest transitions of their lives.

We’ve been working on something that could help us bring that kind of support to more families at no cost to them🥰

We aren’t quite ready to share all the details yet…

But something really special is coming.

Krista’s story is just the beginning❤️

📢PUT BABY ON DADS SIDE OF THE BED‼️

If your baby is waking frequently through the night and just snacking each time and not fully waking, you might want to consider moving baby to Dads side of the bed.

Postpartum Moms smell like milk, which is beautifully designed by nature to help your baby recognize you and feeding time. However, baby waking frequently throughout the night might not be practical for every family and we understand that. This is a very gentle intervention that you can try❤️

This is not a one size fits all recommendation and will not work for every family. When parents come to us for help with getting a sleep routine going, we fully customize a plan that works for them and their unique situation💕

Baby needs to stay near their Mother most of the time for AT LEAST the first month. This is not an intervention we’d recommend before then.

If you need help with sleep training, DM us SLEEP for a fully customized plan curated by Perinatal Registered Nurses😴

Perinatal Nurses explaining birth!🤰🏼👶🏼

Ever wonder WHY your nurse, midwife, or doula has you doing all those weird positions during labor? 👀

Peanut ball. Side-lying. Hands and knees. Lunges. Squats. Exaggerated Sims.

They’re not just trying to keep you moving. Different positions can change the space available at the pelvic inlet, midpelvis, and pelvic outlet. We can use that to help baby descend, rotate, and navigate through the pelvis.

So when your nurse or midwife walks in and says “okay are you ready to try a different position!?”
There’s a reason😉
And it’s back by SCIENCE👍

As RN Lactation Consultants, one of the most common questions we get is: “How do I know if my baby is getting enough?”

While we often focus on hunger cues, satiation cues (signs of fullness) are just as important to recognize! In these photos, you can see the following signs of a full belly:

• The “Milk Drunk” Face: Deep, peaceful sleep immediately after a feed.
• The Open Palm: Notice those relaxed, open hands? A hungry baby often has clenched fists; a full baby lets go.
• Limbs at Rest: That heavy, relaxed arm (the “floppy doll” look) tells us baby is completely satisfied.

When you see these signs, take a deep breath—you’re doing a great job Momma.💜
