It sounds simple but why is it so difficult to practice?
The Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition guidelines suggest children from 12 months of age should started eating the same food as the rest of the family.
When a child is born, we talk to them and make them imitate our actions or repeat what we say, but it doesn’t end there… they look at all of your actions including what you put on your plate! Yes that’s right….
Studies have shown that when children start to eat family foods at a young age, it prevents fussy eating or picky eating habits.
REST is as important as Eating, Sleeping, Exercising.
If you do not take time to rest, your body can go into a state of constant emotional, sensory or physical stress.
While there are soo many more consequences of no rest as part of your routine, I’ve highlighted the main ones.

Hi all,
It’s been a while since I posted on here. I decided to take a short break from social media but then lacked the motivation to start posting again. I’m sure you know how overwhelming it can get and energy consuming.
This break really allowed me to focus on myself, my goals, my clients, and my home and I found peace and happiness.
My goal is to share my knowledge and experience with you using this platform we call social media. As therapists we need some me-time too 😜 so I took it and I don’t regret it. It’s helped me regain my confidence but also helped me calm down coz I always want to be the best at I what I do.
So this post is just to say hiii and I missed being on here. I’m super excited to start posting again and I’ve got a lot of exciting and refreshing content to share with you all. Stay tuned and turn on the notifications incase you miss it.

While guidelines suggest that you can consume a certain amount of added sugar per day, there is no nutrition value of it. So we simply just take them because we want to, not because our bodies need it.
Sugar addiction can start at an early age and can continue throughout life. But what happens when you take too much for a long time?
You’re increasing the risk of:
-Overweight or Obesity
-Type 2 diabetes
-Liver disease
-Mood disorders
-Inflammation
-Liver disease
While sugar is not the only culprit of having these problems, excess intake can result into the above.
Moderate or controlled added sugar intake will not cause this.
The choice is yours!

This will guide you wherever you are in the world. To know how long you need to stay in the sun in order to get MAXIMUM vitamin D absorption. Be it at home, or on holiday miles away from home!
Direct sun to skin exposure is necessary. But also keep in mind that the sun rays aren’t all for vitamin D. So try to stick the time given and do not exceed it. Longer exposure can damage your skin and does not increase vitamin D absorption in your body. So do not over do it!
These are a few common factors that may affect the absorption of Vitamin D from the sun.

Part 1 of our take over - let’s talk about the benefits of Cashew Butter For those who know me, I am a die hard chocolate lover. It’s the only form of ‘sweet’ I enjoy, and a few weeks ago @rosho.tz sent me their Double chocolate Cashew butter (I was sold by reading chocolate on it) but that’s not it..
