🌟 What does it really mean to be toned? 🌟
When we talk about wanting to be “toned,” what do we really mean? The truth is, if you want to look toned you need to BUILD MUSCLE and LOSE body fat.
How is this accomplished?
🌼 Increasing Muscle Definition - to get that sculpted appearance, you need to build muscle. This doesn’t mean you get bulky; it means simply following a strength training program that stimulates muscle growth. Specifically for women, training legs & glutes, as well as your back and arms will help you to build a beautiful hourglass shape ⏳
🌼 Body Fat Reduction - “Toning” also involves reducing body fat levels through a combination of a calorie deficit (eating less calories than your burn each day) and cardio exercise. This will help to reveal the muscle definition you’ve worked so hard to build 💪
🌼 Consistency - Achieving a toned look requires CONSISTENT workout routine (strength & cardio training) along with a proper diet over many weeks and months. Change doesn’t happen overnight; but it will NEVER happen if you continue to flip flop on and off plan.
