Our first Pelvic Health Workshop was a huge success! 💜

It was wonderful to meet so many engaged and enthusiastic women who took part in the workshop.

A big thank you to everyone who stayed afterwards for an insightful focus group, where we explored the challenges women face when accessing pelvic health services and discussed ways these could be improved.

Your experiences and ideas are invaluable in helping shape better care for women.

If you'd like to take part in a future workshop or focus group, we'd love to hear from you. Please get in touch!

🎤As Alan puts it, 'I'm really excited to be part of Pelvic Power Partnership. Working with groups who may not usually access NHS services means we need to think and work differently. We have a great team and a real opportunity to make a difference.'

🌿 Rhiannon Griffiths is the Clinical Lead Pelvic Health Physiotherapist for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB).

She specialises in the assessment and treatment of bladder and bowel dysfunction and pelvic pain conditions, including bladder pain syndrome, painful s*x (dyspareunia), and endometriosis‑related symptoms.

🏥💡 Alongside her clinical work, Rhiannon plays a key role in the development and improvement of specialist pelvic health services, with a strong focus on increasing access to high‑quality, evidence‑based care for the public.

✨💪 She is passionate about empowering women to prioritise their pelvic health and challenging the belief that bladder and bowel symptoms are a “normal” or inevitable part of childbirth or ageing.

Through education, service development, and specialist care, Rhiannon is committed to changing this narrative and helping women live active, confident lives without being limited by pelvic health conditions.
