🗣Sustainability is not void of sacrifice.

it’s always a common misconception that when I say Sustainable weight loss methods, that I mean you can remain the same just a little less.

Do what you wanna, with a little less this or a little less that.

There is nothing you can achieve by just doing what you want, when you want. PeriodT!

🔑To lose weight and maintain it requires discovering what you can sustain, but that doesn’t mean some things won’t be sacrificed.

📌You may have to sacrifice some of the food you want for the food your body needs.

📌You may need to sacrifice some gossip time in order to drink your water and mind your business. 👀

📌You may need to sacrifice some of your TV time for exercise time.

📌You may need to sacrifice the idea that you know it all, and get help. And even better, learn how to receive and accept help.

📌You may need to may need to sacrifice some unsupportive relationships in order to connect with people who can support you.

💯The truth is the body, the health, and the peace you want is on the other side of the sacrifice you are avoiding.

✨The cost to change is huge, so don’t count it, just know whatever the cost you’re worth it! ✨

One of the habits we take for granted is slowing down and enjoying our meal, and not just stuffing our face to move on to the next task. I know you are probably thinking, “Taking time to enjoy and chew our food is a luxury some of us don’t have 🙄” Eye roll and all 😂

However eating slower is on of the major fat loss keys 🔑 I discuss in my 4 week habits challenge. And it’s not just for peace of mind, it’s to aid in digestion.

Often times we eat so fast, we don’t realize we’ve eaten too much until we get in a meeting 30 minutes later and have to unbutton our pants or we can barely stay awake.

Try eating slower without unnecessary distractions. Notice when you feel about 80% full, and if you don’t keep trying at each meal. The more you practice, the more your hunger cues will kick in.

This is another way to help you portion control and remain in a calorie deficit without counting calories.

Y’all hype my client up 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾

1 day turned into 1 year! 🤩 Meryl would always say that if she didn’t come to workout she would only go home and do nothing much, so what’s 1 hour? So she showed up to her 2 sessions a week faithfully then she showed up for herself at home always remembering to do something active as much as possible, and was always trying to make the best food decisions to get her results. She went all in 💪🏾 aiming for progress.

Meryl’s truth: “Don’t be afraid to make a commitment to yourself. And, don’t worry about the payment because it doesn’t matter where you go or what you do it’s a cost regardless. “💯

She lost weight, but she gained so much strength and confidence 🎉

Meryl didn’t watch the scale, she focused on fine tuning her healthy habits. She went from wearing Oversized T-Shirts, to a size small and crop tops. And I would say that’s the most exciting part, her being more comfortable in her clothes and her skin 👌🏾🥰

Congratulations 🎊 You did it 🖤💙🤍

And no matter how much I love to sleep in, when I wake up early I feel in control, productive, and relaxed.

⬆️THIS IS AN INGREDIENT IN HOW TO LOSE FAT!⬆️

⭐️Here’s 5 reasons you should incorporate getting up earlier in your :

1️⃣Dedicated Time: Waking up early allows you to start your day with a workout before any distractions or obligations arise. This consistency can help in burning calories and boosting metabolism, which is crucial for fat loss.

2️⃣Healthy : Early birds have more time to prepare and enjoy a nutritious breakfast. A balanced meal in the morning can help control cravings and prevent overeating later in the day.

I think days like these are necessary for long term health and wellness. The hustle can drain you almost to empty, but on Saturdays we refill our cups. But first we pray:

Once you have a kid you don’t care about people liking you. I’m somebody’s personal superhero 🦸🏽‍♀️, why would I care what you think about me. 😂👌🏾💯

Everyday I care less. And when I say that all I mean is that I become more confident in my ability to trust my own intuition 🧠 , and follow my heart 💜, and be secure in who I am 💪🏾!

sometimes we stay stuck because we are waiting for validation or we are busy trying to keep up with how or when other people are doing things. But honestly if I kept that mentality I would’ve never started my fitness journey, my business, and definitely would’ve given up by now. No one is an expert in what’s best for you, but you and God. My prayer is that God will continue to order my steps and that I won’t be discouraged or distracted so much so that I detour from the path.

The Family and Friends of Lisa Rogers are hosting a Benefit Dinner on Friday, June 21, 2024 in LaPlace, LA, 10:30-6:30. The menu and more information can be found below.

Pre-Orders are encouraged, appreciated, but not required. Walk-Ins are welcome on Friday! We are asking job sites to please kindly have orders in by 9:30 a.m. on Friday June 21st. Delivery is available for 3 or more plates locally & 5 or more outside of the East bank of St. John Parish.

Your support will help the Rogers family take care of the unexpected expenses associated with Lisa’s battle with cancer. About a month ago she was diagnosed with Staged II Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma. Lisa is the loving wife of Travis Rogers, proud bonus mama to TJ, and homeschool mama of 4 beautiful boys, Tristen (14), Tahj (12), Taysom (4), and Tavior (2), all of whom she absolutely adores and who adore her!

We are so encouraged by the outpouring of love and are eternally grateful to each of you who are helping us to help them during this challenging time. Thank you!
