From School to Skincare + Selfcare I provide tips, info, support in Faith, Skincare, Yoga, Philanthropy, and Finances. And that is when I discovered the power of prioritizing ME!

I help educators prioritize self-care so that the "Educator At Heart" can make the greatest impact for themselves, their families, their students, and their communities. THE STORY: Fall 2014: I had an amazing husband, 2 beautiful daughters, a wonderful home, and a secure teaching job BUT I wasn’t happy and I didn’t know why. I was struggling emotionally, professionally, and personally and didn’t

know how to get out of the “funk”. Around that same time, my former principal continuously shared the message to our staff that, “Anything is possible.” Little by little that message began to resonate with me and I began dreaming again about my life. I realized that I needed to make a change and do something different because if I didn’t, my life would pass me by and I wouldn’t have even attempted something that was in my heart since I was a little girl. Interestingly enough, it started as simply as washing my face! I also started transferring my skills into building a virtual micro-franchise to share a self-care product that I loved while helping teach and empower others. This side-gig where I called the shots allowed me to choose to spend my precious time on things that ignited my soul and I shared them with others and help their souls to glow, too! It also helped me set boundaries in my teaching career and to help others do the same. That principal, and now business partner, was a spark reminding me that there is MORE to life, that WE are capable of so much more. Now, in 2021, that little spark has now turned into a fire. Owning a micro-franchise and serving people as my side-hustle has provided the tools, resources, a system, and supplemental income to serve in a way that is impactful, healthy, and purpose driven. Currently, I teach in a part-time teaching position so that I can focus more time on my family, my most important passion. I have also used the extra time and confidence I have gained tto become an RYT - 200 Yoga Instructor. Finally, I have been able to use the extra time and portions of the income to make an impact in my local community through volunteerism as well as the world of education internationally by working with an organization to help build schools in developing countries. Now, I am excited again about teaching again and especially, using my teaching skills to teach and support you how to spark passion, purpose, possibility, and potential and start a fire in your life by becoming a brand rep with Rodan + Fields because the EDUCATOR AT HEART in you deserves it. Please note that this is my unique story and it came with consistently working my business daily for 15 minutes to an hour a day. Eeekkkk! Just did something slightly impulsive after my first run in FOREVER! I signed up for a half marathon!

There is a feeling that frees me when I run. There is a love there and I’m excited to discover it again through long distance running. Totally scared as I’m older now and hoping my feet, right knee, and hips can hold up!!!

I can’t help but think of the “WHAT IFS” at a time like this!

❓What if I stayed in that negative space - feeling trapped in my teaching career without listening to my intuition?

❓What if I never took that chance on myself to develop skills and build a community to serve others by trying something new?

❓What if I never stepped out of my comfort zone because the work was unconventional?

❓What if I never really learned how to take care of myself- starting with my skin?

❓What if I let the fear of what others thought about me running a skincare business having zero experience stopped me from learning and serving people ALL around me?

❓What if I can help one more person love their skin and/or love something more about their life just by connecting, teaching and empowering them through life-changing skincare?

I can 1,000 percent tell you that one small YES to partner with a powerhouse company completely changed my life - and the lives of so many around me- for the better.

🤔Why is skincare good selfcare?🤔

Taking 5 minutes in the morning with our innovations sets me up to feel good for the long teacher day ahead. (Especially when k add my words of affirmation to my routine.)

And taking 5 minutes at night helps me wash away the tough parts of the day and reflect on all the good that happened. (Gratitude and perspective.)

I definitely never knew how much of a difference this simple self-care act made on my life until I started doing it consistently.

A few months ago I leaned into dedicating my Saturday morning to an advanced yoga class as a way to reconnect to my spiritual and self-care side - a time just for me.

Wow! Not only am I physically becoming more flexible and stronger each week, I’m becoming stronger mentally and physically. I’m so much happier and I realize that we truly need to dedicate a special time for yourself that is just for you.
