Our group loves the Crystal River Woman's Club! Inside their building are photos of the past years throughout their history showing a timeline of the amazing help they have provided to Crystal River and Citrus County.

Another round of gratitude for World Fusion for their generosity! Their Crusader Roll for the month of February brought in $400 in donations for Nature Coast Cancer Crusaders! We are so blessed to have such amazing support in our community.

Great job by Citrus Colorectal Cancer Foundation getting this proclamation designating March 2024 as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in Citrus County. Everyone needs to follow the advise on Karen Hampton Fisher's shirt and Check your Colon!
Don't for to come support their big #2 event in Inverness this coming Saturday. Come Paint the Town Brown from 9am-3m at Liberty Park.

At its March 12, 2024 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners issued a proclamation designating March 2024 as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in Citrus County:

"Colorectal cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States, and is one of the few types of cancer that can be prevented. Timely screening is the key, but 1 in 3 eligible Americans are not up to date on their screening...Observing a Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month provides an opportunity to increase awareness and educate the public on the importance of early detection and screening."

Karen Fisher, of the Citrus Colorectal Cancer Awareness Foundation, received the proclamation from Commissioners and reminded all about ColonFest '24 - Inverness' " #2 Festival" - Saturday, March 23rd at Liberty Park. www.citrusCRC.com

For the 2nd year in a row, team members have brought home the gold in the Stronger Than Cancer Co****le tournament!

Personnel from our department also participated in the 4th annual "It's All About the Cause" Mini Cancer walk sponsored by Nature Coast Cancer Crusaders in order to help fund cancer patients and their families.

Way to go!!!🎉

Citrus Springs Middle School really knows how to celebrate Superbowl weekend. Each year, CSMS holds their annual Souper Bowl contest to raise money for Nature Coast Cancer Crusaders. This year they raised an amazing $530!!! These funds will be added to our donation to Stand Up To Cancer for the Melanoma Dream Team research. WAY TO GO FALCONS!!!!
