Using Virtual Reality in Cancer Care and Survivorship for Well-Being.

This will be a talk on how Heather's personal experience with using VR during cancer treatment and recovery has inspired her to advocate for the use of VR in healthcare, specifically for adults and children who are being treated for cancer.

J’arrive.
Transition in life is funny. Around 2018 I came to this city by train for a breastfeeding conference and now I came to the same station on my way to a technology for healthcare summit. 2019 was a pivotal year. It changed everything. And I’m grateful for how it changed my life. I’m grateful to be doing what I’m doing. To be helping who I’m helping. For the opportunities to spread the word about VR for Health. My story hasn’t changed but the details and characters have. And that’s ok.
