Another delicious recipe from Lanique...

Spaghetti Squash with Fresh String Beans & Sirloin Tender Steak:

Spaghetti Squash

First cut Squash in half lengthwise, then scoop out the seeds. Next drizzle the insides lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning (optional). Poke a few holes in the skin of the squash with a fork and place both sides down on a baking sheet. Put in in a pre heated 400 degree oven for 30-40 min until roasted. Once cooled, use fork to scrape the strands. Add required amount of spaghetti sauce, Rao's is preferred.

Season Steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder & paprika.

In a large Skillet add olive oil, cook steak on Medium High for 10 minutes flipping both sides until golden brown. Add 2 good swigs of beef broth with 1/2 cup water, lower temperature to Low add lid cook for another 10 min, flipping both sides until desired tenderness.

In a medium pot, add water, onion flakes, salt & pepper, add your fresh string beans and let boil until desired texture.

I snuck in a slice of deli meat so I could have soup and sandwich with the country-style bread. Broccoli and Leek soup courtesy of 100 Bowls of Soup in Herndon gives me my veggies. It’s a good comfort food meal - the bread is very filling!

Does anybody know of a good soup that is Level 1 compliant, that gets you your 2 cups of vegetables? Either one you can purchase, or a good recipe. I'm getting a little tired of salad for lunch every day!

My wife & I just want to say "Thanks!" We started THWN on May 4th of this year. As of this morning, my wife has lost 41 lbs and I have lost 71 lbs. We have officially transitioned to Stage/Step/Phase 2 of the diet plan.

Cheesesteak pasta overpriced cauliflower for lunch! My attempts to cook via microwave were a disaster so now I only cook this and the creamy pastas on the stovetop.
Orzo today - ran out of Walden Farms Italian dressing so using WF Bacon Ranch
I skipped the feta cheese to make this Level 1 “safe” and I am not a huge tomato person so I reversed the ratio of zucchini to tomatoes. Baked Halibut Steaks from Cooks.com 1 tsp olive oil 1 c zucchini, diced 1/2 c onion minced 1 clove garlic minced 2 c fresh tomatoes, diced 2 Tbsp fresh basic chopped 1/4 tsp ground black pepper 4 (6 Oz) halibut steaks 1/3 c feta cheese crumbled — SKIP FOR LEVEL 1 Preheat oven to 450 F. Lightly grease a medium baking dish. Heat olive oil in medium saucepan over medium heat, and stir in zucchini, onion, and garlic. Cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender. Remove saucepan from heat, mix in tomatoes, basil, salt if needed, and pepper. Arrange halibut steaks in single layer in prepared baking dish. Spoon equal amounts of the zucchini mixture over each steak. SKIP FOR LEVEL 1: Top with feta cheese - if in level 3 Bake at 450 F for 15 minutes.
Trying the home style pancake this morning with Walden Farms syrup. It was yummy!
