I feel it so it MUST be true: The final entry (for now) on a series of videos on the cognitive distortions that restrict our lives. This time it's Emotional Reasoning - which is taking our current feelings as evidence of the validity of our thoughts. This is a form of backwards logic that much of pop psychology actually promotes (umm, "Do No Harm," anyone?). Designed for both clinicians and the public, this series can serve as an intro to some of the core concepts of cognitive therapy.
