🤍 Handcrafted Hug Machine – Proudly Made by Sensory Space SA 🤍

We designed and built this Hug Machine ourselves to provide the deep-pressure input that many autistic individuals and people with sensory processing differences find calming and comforting.

The adjustable side panels allow you to control the amount of pressure, so each person can find the squeeze that feels right for them. This gentle, even pressure can help promote relaxation, improve focus, and provide a sense of security.
We're proud to share that two schools have already purchased our Hug Machines! 💙

Each Hug Machine is made to order, so we don't keep them in stock. Every unit is carefully handcrafted to ensure quality and durability.

🧠 Did You Know?

The hug machine (also called a squeeze machine) was invented by Temple Grandin, a brilliant scientist who is also autistic. She designed it to help calm herself during moments of sensory overload.

💙 At Sensory Space SA, we understand the power of deep pressure and calming tools — that's why we’ve created our own version of a hug machine, inspired by her!

🧠✨ Not All Chewers Are the Same – Find the Right Chew for YOUR Child! ✨🧠

Struggling to choose the right chewable necklace or pencil topper? We’ve made it simple!

Our chewables come in 3 levels to suit every sensory need:
🔹 Standard – Soft & chewy. Perfect for light chewers.
🔸 Tough – Firmer for moderate chewing needs.
⚫ Extra Tough – Strongest option for heavy chewers.

💡 Start soft and move up as needed. Many kids even use more than one chew depending on their mood or stress levels!

🧷 Safety first: Always replace when damaged. Necklaces are for wearing — not chewing on the clasp.

During our school holiday we found that having the list of chores written under each child's name helps them to understand what we are asking of them and also it gives them the satisfaction of rubbing their completed chore off the list.

This actually turned into a fun game of who can complete their chore the fastest on their own.

Also each child was given a task of what they could do independently to build confidence and "I can do it attitude"!

Having Alert sticker on my car, just gives me a little reassurance that if something does go wrong, the medical assistance will look after my daughter, especially with her wearing her medical seat belt information strap

My biggest fear as a mom is that something might go wrong and having stickers on my car just gives me some reassurance that they will help my child first, especially with her wearing her medical Info seat belt
