The opening of Intercare Somerset West Physical Rehabilitation Hospital is an important milestone for Intercare and one I am personally proud to see becoming a reality.

But its real significance will be found in the people we serve.
In the person who regains greater independence.

In the family that feels better prepared to bring a loved one home.

In healthcare professionals who work together around a shared goal for their patient.

And in every step, however big or small, that helps someone move forward.

That is what making people feel better means to me.

We’re officially open and accepting referrals.

Intercare Somerset West Physical Rehabilitation Hospital is now ready to support patients who require acute, hospital-based physical rehabilitation.

Our purpose-built 34-bed hospital offers 14 rehabilitation programmes, dedicated therapy spaces and on-site hydrotherapy, supported by a coordinated interdisciplinary team.
