Are your periods actually too heavy, or are they normal for you?
Heavy menstrual bleeding is not just about how many pads you use. If your periods last more than 7 days, you soak through a pad every hour for several hours, pass large blood clots, or experience fatigue, dizziness, weakness or breathlessness, it’s time to consult a gynecologist.
Excessive menstrual bleeding can sometimes lead to iron-deficiency anemia. Don’t ignore the signs or assume that heavy periods are normal for you.

🤰 Pregnant? Worried about metal detectors at malls or airports?
Here’s some reassurance! Metal detectors use **non-ionizing electromagnetic fields**, which are not known to harm your baby during routine screening. You can generally pass through them without worry.

For women seeking adenomyosis treatment in Dubai, early diagnosis and personalised treatment planning can help manage symptoms and address reproductive concerns. We offer specialist gynaecological care, including minimally invasive surgical options where clinically appropriate.

Can cervical cancer be prevented? Yes.
Almost all cervical cancers are linked to persistent high-risk HPV infection—but HPV does NOT mean you have cancer.
Regular cervical screening can detect precancerous changes early, when they can often be treated before becoming cancer.

Know your HPV. Get screened. Protect your health.

Think contraceptive pills cause infertility? That’s a myth.
Contraceptive pills are designed to temporarily prevent pregnancy. After stopping them, fertility generally returns, and many women can conceive naturally.
If you’re planning a pregnancy, talk to your gynaecologist about when to stop contraception and how to plan your pregnancy safely.

Don’t let myths influence your reproductive health decisions. Get the facts from your doctor.

Many mothers ask: “Can puberty be delayed for my daughter?”

The answer is: yes, in some situations, puberty can be medically delayed. But it is not something to consider without proper assessment and evaluation.

The cause, your daughter’s overall health, growth and development, and the possible effects and risks of treatment all need to be carefully considered.

Every child is different. If you have concerns about early or delayed puberty, always consult an experienced gynecologist before making any decision.

Endometriosis is not cancer.
Even though endometriosis can spread to different areas of the pelvis and may affect organs beyond the uterus, it is not a cancerous disease.
However, it can cause severe pain, heavy periods, painful in*******se, and fertility problems. Don’t ignore persistent symptoms or continue to suffer in silence.
Get evaluated and discuss the right treatment options with a gynecologist.

Does a postpartum belt help with weight loss?

Not really. A postpartum belt can provide abdominal support, improve comfort and circulation, and support weakened muscles during recovery — but it does not directly burn fat or cause weight loss.

Healthy postpartum weight loss comes from a balanced diet, appropriate exercise and gradual recovery, as advised by your doctor.
