How Laser Hair Removal Works

Laser energy is delivered to the hair follicle, where it is converted into heat to help reduce hair growth. At Aestheticon in Dubai, our dual-wavelength system combines Alexandrite and Nd:YAG lasers, and the appropriate wavelength is chosen according to your skin tone, hair colour, and hair thickness.

Hair grows in cycles, which is one reason treatment is planned across several sessions rather than one. Before starting, a consultation allows the team to review your skin type, hair characteristics, and medical history, and to talk through what to expect, including possible side effects and aftercare.

Every patient is different, so the number of sessions and the approach are agreed individually.
