ALO Shanghai 🇨🇳

A new level of epic.

I joked that the crystal room was made for me…only to find out later that they really did design the room with me in mind. Couldn’t love my ALO fam more for creating such a magical space to work from all week.

As always, the people made it everything it was and more. From the incredible brains of creation bts, to the team on the ground, to the clients experiencing ALO for the first time. Every single person and experience etched in my memory forever.

Especially the collaboration we didn’t know we needed. Bowls x acro yoga. Iconic.

What a legendary crew to share this with. Big love to everyone for making this possible and special mahusive love to Elane Roepke for everything.

One of the most unexpectedly special days of my life.

So much WOW.

Unreal. And yet so real.

I didn’t expect it to be this epic. Yet I knew it would be too.

I only had an hour there but that was enough to feel its power and history.

I cried the happiest tears because life is magic. Then video called some of my favourite people from the top to share said magic.

Highly recommend to wander often and to wonder always.

Because the more l live, the more I understand that the real wonder of the world is experiencing life to all its edges and some.

The places my bowls take me…

For years I’ve been watching the Red Sea project grow from the sidelines. Hearing the hype, feeling the energy, witnessing the kind of forward-thinking vision that makes you want a slice of something before it even fully exists.

The Middle East has always had a gift for making the impossible possible. It’s part of why I love calling this place home.

Last week, I finally got my chunk of it. And what a chunk it was.

Shared with possibly the best people you could hope to be surrounded by. All of them fun, all of them beautiful, all of them great. And I think we all agree…

“You find things fun because you are fun.

You find things beautiful because you are beautiful.

Everything is great because you are great.”

When you approach life with an open heart and a joyful spirit, you naturally draw out the best in the people and the world around you.

In one week, each of these people’s brains and hearts shifted something in me. A reminder that the right company doesn’t just make moments better, it makes you see them differently.

It’s that time of the year, a time that I’ve come to now crave, knowing it’s coming, but it always feels so far away...and then...it’s here.

Tomorrow I return to Nepal for a short but wonderful week. A place that’s come to feel like home thanks to my yearly visits and the people who have become family.

Once we’ve found the perfect match, I will ship them to you directly from Nepal.

The smartest smart device in the room wasn’t on anyone’s wrist.

It was everyone in the seats. It’s you.

Wellness doesn’t have to be complicated or overwhelming. When we know how to listen, we know that the answer is already within us.

April, the month things started to settle and with it, something felt different.

Events came back. Gatherings came back. People came back together. I haven’t felt the sense of community like that in a long time.

We saw it through and emerged stronger from it all.

There’s something quietly profound about what happens on the inside when there’s turbulence on the outside. You’d expect more noise, more tension. But instead, things soften and go still. A kind of peace you didn’t know you were building until it was already there.

Because we’re all in it together.

That’s April, in essence. The rest of the pictures speak for themselves 🤍

Yesterday the earth got a sound healing session. She deserved it.

There’s something about sound healing on water, under palm trees, with the Dubai skyline watching over you. The bowls do their thang, time dissolves and for a moment everyone floating on the water is exactly where they’re meant to be.

My boys. I couldn’t do these events without you and I wouldn’t want to. You bring something to these spaces that no amount of planning can replicate. Pure magic 🤍

Somewhere between melting and laughing my head off, these moments are what makes making something awesome so real and special to me.

Not everything has to be perfect and polished. Sweating under lights with no working AC. Uncontrollable laughter. Possible delulu from the heat and many moments that make no sense.

And letting it all happen anyway.

Also. They told me I wasn’t shiny. They lied. I was so shiny. SO shiny. “Watch me dazzle like a diamond in the rough. Strut my stuff.” iykyk.

And just when you think it couldn’t get any better…

Blip.
