The DUPHAT Scientific Advisory Board came together to discuss and shape the conference programme for DUPHAT 2027, bringing together scientific expertise, industry insights, and innovative perspectives to advance pharmaceutical knowledge and practice.

With a focus on scientific excellence, career development, and pharmaceutical industry innovation, the Board will contribute to developing a forward-looking programme that addresses emerging trends, current challenges, and new opportunities across the pharmaceutical sector.
Together, we look forward to creating an impactful platform for knowledge exchange, professional growth, and collaboration across the global pharmaceutical community.

Prof. Ali Abdullah reflected on his journey with DUPHAT, having attended the event since 2017. He highlighted its value as a platform for meeting experts, exchanging knowledge and building connections with colleagues from around the world.

At DUPHAT 2026, he presented a session on high-alert medications, focusing on standardising their use to support patient safety and safer practice for healthcare professionals. Drawing on the latest ISMP and WHO guidelines, he also shared practical experience from Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital in Kuwait.
