Breast cancer does not always begin with a lump. Changes in breast size or shape, skin dimpling, ni**le changes or discharge, persistent pain, and other unusual changes should not be ignored.

Risk can be influenced by factors such as age, family history, inherited genetic changes, certain breast conditions, alcohol use, low physical activity, and other hormone-related factors. Still, some people diagnosed may have no known risk factors at all.

Know your body, pay attention to changes, and speak with your healthcare provider about the screening that is right for you.
