Dr. Markus Hartenbach and Prof. Dr. Alexander Haug have extensive experience with these therapies: over 1000 [¹⁷⁷Lu]Lu-PSMA treatments in 8 years and over 12 years’ experience with [¹⁷⁷Lu]Lu-DOTA-TATE. Under the leadership of the prominent chemistry expert Prof. Dr. Wadzak, we produce the radiopharmaceuticals for you in our own radio-pharmacological laboratory, a so-called "hot lab". 🇺🇸We were delighted to participate in the 37th International Austrian Nuclear Medicine Congress, organized by the ÖGNT. This year, we were honoured to chair the DSD Pharma Industry Symposium “Terbium-161: The Next Generation of Radioligand Therapy,” dedicated to one of the most promising radionuclides shaping the future of radioligand therapy.
We greatly enjoyed the lively exchange with leading experts in the field and valued the opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and pave the way for many fruitful collaborations.
We would also like to highlight the exceptional keynote lecture by John Babich from RatioTherapeutics, who shared fascinating insights into the development of radiopharmaceuticals in general, with a particular focus on .
A big thank you to the organizers, speakers, and all participants for making this such an inspiring and engaging meeting. Until next year!

🇩🇪Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, am 37. Internationalen Österreichischen Kongress für teilzunehmen, der von der ÖGNT organisiert wurde. In diesem Jahr hatten wir die Ehre, den Vorsitz beim DSD-Pharma-Industriesymposium „Terbium-161: The Next Generation of Radioligand Therapy“ zu führen - einer Session, die sich einem der vielversprechendsten Radionuklide widmete, welche die Zukunft der Radioligandentherapie maßgeblich mitgestalten.
Der rege Austausch mit führenden Experten auf diesem Gebiet war für uns eine große Bereicherung; wir schätzten die Gelegenheit, Kontakte zu knüpfen, Ideen auszutauschen und den Grundstein für viele vielversprechende Kooperationen zu legen.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir zudem den herausragenden Keynote-Vortrag von John Babich (RatioTherapeutics), der faszinierende Einblicke in die Entwicklung von Radiopharmazeutika im Allgemeinen sowie speziell in den Bereich FAPI gewährte.
Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Organisatoren, Referenten und alle Teilnehmenden, die dieses Treffen zu einer so inspirierenden und spannenden Veranstaltung gemacht haben. Bis zum nächsten Jahr!

🇪🇸Nos encantó participar en el 37.º Congreso Internacional de de Austria, organizado por la ÖGNT. Este año, tuvimos el honor de presidir el Simposio de la Industria de DSD Pharma, “Terbio-161: La nueva generación de la terapia con radioligandos”, dedicado a uno de los radionúclidos más prometedores que están marcando el futuro de la terapia con radioligandos.
Disfrutamos enormemente del enriquecedor intercambio con destacados expertos del sector y valoramos especialmente la oportunidad de conectar, compartir ideas y sentar las bases para numerosas colaboraciones fructíferas.
También nos gustaría destacar la excepcional conferencia magistral de John Babich, de RatioTherapeutics, quien compartió interesantes perspectivas sobre el desarrollo de radiofármacos en general, con especial énfasis en FAPI.

🇭🇷Bilo nam je veliko zadovoljstvo sudjelovati na 37. Međunarodnom austrijskom kongresu nuklearne medicine, u organizaciji ÖGNT-a. Ove smo godine imali čast predsjedati industrijskim simpozijem DSD Pharma pod nazivom „Terbij-161: nova generacija terapije radioligandima“, posvećenom jednom od najperspektivnijih radionuklida koji oblikuju budućnost radioligandne terapije.
Uistinu smo uživali u dinamičnoj razmjeni mišljenja s vodećim stručnjacima iz ovog područja te posebno cijenili priliku za povezivanje, razmjenu ideja i stvaranje temelja za brojne buduće uspješne suradnje.
Posebno bismo istaknuli i izvanredno uvodno predavanje Johna Babicha iz RatioTherapeutics-a, koji je podijelio vrijedne uvide u razvoj radiofarmaceutika općenito, s posebnim naglaskom na FAPI.
Veliko hvala organizatorima, predavačima i svim sudionicima što su ovaj susret učinili tako inspirativnim i sadržajnim. Vidimo se ponovno sljedeće godine!

🇺🇸The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved for PSMA+ based on the Phase III trial. Updated results show a 33% reduction in risk of disease progression or death versus hormone therapy alone. This approval moves radioligand therapy to the first line and nearly doubles the eligible patient population, making expanded access to radioligand therapy the next priority.
🇩🇪Die FDA hat Pluvicto auf Grundlage der Phase-III-Studie PSMAddition für PSMA+ metastasiertes hormonsensitives Prostatakarzinom zugelassen. Aktualisierte Ergebnisse zeigen eine Verringerung des Risikos für Krankheitsprogression oder Tod um 33% im Vergleich zur Hormontherapie allein. Mit dieser Zulassung wird die Radioligandentherapie in die Erstlinienbehandlung verlagert und die Zahl der infrage kommenden Patient nahezu verdoppelt. Damit wird der erweiterte Zugang zur Radioligandentherapie zur nächsten Priorität.
🇪🇸La FDA ha aprobado Pluvicto para el cáncer de próstata metastásico hormonosensible PSMA+ basándose en el ensayo de fase III PSMAddition. Los resultados actualizados muestran una reducción del 33% en el riesgo de progresión de la enfermedad o muerte en comparación con la terapia hormonal sola. Esta aprobación sitúa la terapia con radioligandos en la primera línea de tratamiento y casi duplica la población de pacientes elegibles, por lo que ampliar el acceso a la terapia con radioligandos pasa a ser la siguiente prioridad.
🇭🇷FDA je odobrila Pluvicto za PSMA+ metastatski hormonski osjetljiv rak prostate na temelju ispitivanja faze III PSMAddition. Ažurirani rezultati pokazuju smanjenje rizika od progresije bolesti ili smrti za 33% u usporedbi sa samom hormonskom terapijom. Ovim odobrenjem radioligandna terapija prelazi u prvu liniju liječenja te se broj pacijenata koji ispunjavaju kriterije za liječenje gotovo udvostručuje, zbog čega je proširenje pristupa terapiji radioligandima sljedeći prioritet.

A recent retrospective study of 56 patients found that kidney function remains largely stable during and after ¹⁷⁷Lu-PSMA treatment, even in patients with pre-existing kidney problems, who should be monitored more closely during treatment. Eine aktuelle retrospektive Analyse von 56 Patienten zeigte, dass ¹⁷⁷Lu-PSMA die Nierenfunktion nicht in klinisch relevantem Ausmaß beeinträchtigt, auch bei Patienten mit bereits bestehenden Nierenproblemen, die während der Behandlung sorgfältiger überwacht werden sollten. Retrospektivna analiza sprovedena na 56 pacijenata pokazala je da ¹⁷⁷Lu-PSMA nije doveo do klinički značajnog oštećenja bubrežne funkcije, čak i kod pacijenata sa već postojećim problemima sa bubrezima, koji zahtevaju pažljivije praćenje tokom lečenja.
