Life lately
°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
A season of letting life unfold as it will, while learning to make space for the joy, grief, uncertainty, and wonder of becoming.
My baby got a big girl floor bed, and I’m just not ready for her to grow up so quickly. She slept so well on her own, and when she woke, she called out for “baba”. Not going to lie, last night I cried myself to sleep without her little body beside mine.
I know this transition is part of preparing for her baby sibling joining us earthside, but there is something so tender about watching your firstborn grow while a part of you wishes you could keep them little forever.
The transition from one to two is bringing so many dual emotions. So much love for what’s coming, and so much grief for the little season we’re slowly leaving behind.
Work has also felt especially potent as I prepare to wrap up my final mentorship container of the year, hold my last women’s circle for a while, and complete my Womb Awakening studies. All to be wrapped up this month before I step into my next chapter of motherhood.
This season has held so many layers, there have been deep moments of uncertainty, grief, and surrender, as well as joy, excitement and so much love. Life and motherhood continue to ask me to journey into the deepest depths of my strength, power, and wisdom. Honestly, this has probably been one of the most challenging seasons of my life, building, creating, mothering and studying with very little outside support and a teeny tiny village.
I can be so hard on myself, but I’m also in awe of this version of me, I know I’ll look back on this season with so much love for everything she was building, weaving and creating, even when it felt like too much to hold.
I continue to be in awe of the mysteries of womanhood, the feminine, and the wisdom of the womb. Of how we can be breaking open and becoming all at once, how we can grieve what we are leaving behind while making space for what is yet to come.
So here I am, a little quieter, a little more inward, surrendering to this season and all that it holds.
Still becoming. Still growing. Still creating magic.🌀🌙🌺✨
