This week, the fantastic Kumangka Community Garden team celebrated 2 years of operation!

Since the beginning of the garden, they have created a space that is beautifully green and welcoming for everyone.

The entire garden is accessible with wheelchair-friendly flooring and raised garden beds growing a variety of flowers, fruits, herbs and even trees!

They celebrated with a morning tea thanking the whole team as well as supporters, suppliers and Minda team members who helped make it all possible.

Congrats team!

We have news… we’ve spoken with our friend in the bright red suit.

He’s more excited than ever to meet you all, and this year he’ll be doing it completely FREE with special thanks to Compnow.

Come and meet Santa and Mrs Claus at Carols this December for FREE and receive your free gift.

While you wait, we will have craft tables and activities for kids to draw pictures and write letters for Santa to take back with him to the North Pole.

John joins the team with 15 years’ experience in musculoskeletal, sports, and neurology physiotherapy providing manual and exercise therapy.

This week we celebrate National Carers Week where we recognise and celebrate those who look after and provide unpaid care to their family members or friends.

The support and care they give is invaluable, with the importance of their role often going unnoticed.

Take some time this week to show your support for a carer in your life – acknowledge how important they are and how much their support means, offer them a break, encourage self-care or just check-in generally to see how they’re doing.

Everyone needs care, especially those that dedicate their lives to providing it to others.

Earlier this week, we had 5 participants from our Forward Steps MyPath Day Options program graduate with a Cert I in Access to Vocational Pathways through SA Learning Centre - RTO #4881.

They celebrated with their support staff and families as they received their certificates in a graduation ceremony at INC Café on Monday.

The Cert I focusses on helping participants build confidence, independence, and practical skills for employment and everyday life.
