“Hit the ground running” might be an understatement!
Term 4 has certainly started at pace for the HCTS team — 22 courses delivered across just 9 days, spanning Brisbane, Buderim, Cooktown, Cairns, Ironbark Mine and Rockhampton.
For me, that meant 6 flights and thousands of kilometres, while our team continued delivering ALS and PALS training across Queensland.
There was also a HCTS first along the way — delivering Advanced Life Support training at a coal mine at Ironbark. A very different training environment, and a great reminder that high-quality resuscitation skills are needed wherever healthcare and emergency response take place.
From metropolitan hospitals to regional and remote Queensland, we continue to be incredibly fortunate to work with clinicians and organisations who take resuscitation education seriously.
A huge thank you to Kylie, Viviana and the wider HCTS team who keep everything moving, and to every participant and organisation who welcomed us over these very busy nine days.
22 courses. 9 days. 6 flights. Thousands of kilometres.
One committed team — and Term 4 is only just getting started. 💙
