A beautiful new addition to Aletheia Apothecary.

For some time, I’ve been searching for glass teapots that offer both exceptional quality and timeless beauty. Many of you have asked me to source them, and I wanted to find something truly special.

I’m delighted to have discovered these elegant Japanese glass teapots.

Crafted from exceptionally strong, heat-resistant glass, they have a beautiful clarity and a lovely, refined feel in the hand. Each comes with a fine stainless steel infuser, allowing the tea to gently unfurl and release its flavour.

A matching glass tea warmer is also available, bringing a soft candlelit glow to the experience of enjoying tea.

Many of Aletheia’s loose-leaf herbal teas benefit from a longer infusion. The warmer helps maintain a pleasant drinking temperature, allowing you to return to your tea at your own pace, without needing to rush.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary Bistro Margolyn last weekend, and what a lovely evening it was!

Beautiful food, a wonderful atmosphere, and such warm, genuine hospitality.

A special thank you to Christina, who looked after us so beautifully. Your kindness and thoughtfulness made our evening all the more memorable.

Thank you to everyone at Bistro Margolyn for making our anniversary such a lovely occasion. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer evening together.

One of my most favourite places in Sydney - The Royal Botanical Gardens.

I’ve had a long standing relationship with the gardens, over 30 years. It’s been a place of delight, connection, learning and sanctuary for me.

I’m enjoying a couple of hours here before flying back to Armidale this afternoon.

Over the past few months, I’ve been noticing how much people are having to hold.

With everything happening globally and economically at the moment, many people are feeling the impact of this in their day-to-day lives.

There’s been more pressure, more demand, and a greater sensitivity to what’s happening around them. For some, it’s showing up as fatigue or feeling run down. For others, more emotionally. And for many, it’s simply the sense of having less space to meet what’s in front of them.

I’ve been aware of this in myself as well.

In response to this, and to what this time of year brings more generally, I’ve brought together the Aletheia Winter Collection 2026.

This is the first seasonal collection I’ve created for Aletheia.

It’s been shaped to support the body through winter - immunity, digestion, skin, warmth - but also to support you in staying steady within yourself as you move through what’s present.

Over the past few months, I’ve been paying close attention to what’s been coming up - in clinic, in conversations, and more generally.

There’s been a consistent pattern. People feeling more sensitive, more affected, and carrying more than usual. Not just physically, but emotionally as well.

At the same time, as we’ve been moving into winter, with the usual impact on the body.

Working with both of those together, I began refining and bringing together a number of formulations that felt most relevant to what’s needed right now.

Over time, that naturally became this collection.

This is the first seasonal collection I’ve created for Aletheia.

There has been a quieter rhythm here lately.

Not from absence, but from a deeper refinement.

Much of this year has been about staying present with what is arising - internally and in the world around me - and allowing that to shape what is created, rather than pushing ahead of it.

The apothecary is evolving in this way.

Slower in appearance perhaps, but more considered, more coherent, and more true.

Like the shift of seasons, there is a drawing inward. A time of tending, listening, and allowing.

There are new creations forming in the background - not yet ready to be shared, but taking shape with care and attention.
