ā ļø Ticks are active ā and one bite can become life-threatening.
Please make sure your dogās tick prevention is up to date and take a few minutes to check them thoroughly every dayāespecially around the head, ears, mouth, neck, under the collar, between the toes, under the legs, around the groin and beneath the tail.
Ticks can be extremely difficult to see, particularly beneath a thick or curly coat, and they can look very different once engorged.
If you find a tick or notice any weakness, wobbliness, unusual breathing, gagging, vomiting, a changed bark or sudden tiredness, contact your veterinarian immediately. Donāt wait to see if your dog improves.
Daily checks and appropriate veterinary-recommended prevention could save your dogās life. Please share this information with another dog owner. š¾ā¤ļø
