We are so excited to be offering this program again in 2027, it's a fantastic opportunity for school leavers to gain hands-on experience in the disability support sector, earn a wage and finish with a nationally recognised qualification.

Meet Tammy! With nearly two decades in the disability sector and eight years at Glenray, Tammy leads our Support Services team with warmth, authenticity, and a deep commitment to person-centred care.

From her early days studying casework to helping local families navigate NDIS intake and supported living, Tammy’s approach is all about treating people like family and creating a supportive, "one team" culture across everything we do.

Invisible Disabilities Week recognises the 1 in 6 people globally living with a disability, many of which aren't immediately visible. 🌻

Not all barriers are obvious; from chronic pain, fatigue, and neurodivergence to sensory processing differences and mental health conditions, many people in our community navigate unseen challenges every day.

At Glenray, we’re proud to continue our support the Hidden Disability Sunflower scheme. The Sunflower is a discreet yet powerful symbol that lets others know someone may need a little extra time, patience, or assistance without having to explain their medical details.

We’ve published a new blog article sharing how we foster inclusive spaces and featuring personal stories from our participants Amy, Nick, and Simeon.

If you or a loved one could benefit from a Sunflower lanyard, wristband, or badge, you can drop into our Bathurst office to pick them up for free.

Good luck to the Bathurst All Abilities Netball team who will be starting their Olympic campaign today at the Special Olympics Australia National Games in Melbourne!

The 2026 Special Olympics Australia National Games are officially underway! 🏐🎉

What an incredible atmosphere at the Opening Ceremony today! So much excitement, so many smiles and a whole lot of team spirit! 💙💛

Seeing our players soaking up every moment, proudly representing Bathurst and being surrounded by athletes from across Australia was something pretty special. 🥹

And of course, we can’t forget our very own BLUE ARMY in the crowd! 💙💙 no
Seeing so many familiar faces cheering, waving and showing their support made the occasion even more special. Our players certainly weren’t short of supporters, and we absolutely loved seeing our Blue Army out in force!

Today was a beautiful reminder of what the Special Olympics are all about — inclusion, friendship, celebrating abilities and bringing people together through sport.

And judging by the smiles, I think it’s safe to say our team had an absolute ball! 🥰

The celebrations are done, the excitement is high, and now we’re ready to hit the court!

Last Thursday, we welcomed the team from 2BS and B-Rock FM to hand over the funds raised from our recent Hawaiian Shirt staff fundraiser! 🌺

Glenray raised a total of $6,880, and our staff voted to donate the proceeds to the 2BS and B-Rock Christmas Toy Appeal. This incredible initiative collects and distributes thousands of new toys to local children and families in need on Christmas Day.

We are beyond excited to support this year’s appeal and want to extend a massive thank you to 2BS and B-Rock FM for running such an impactful community initiative—and to our amazing staff who not only look stunning in their new uniforms, but jumped on this fundraiser so readily!

Measure twice, cut once, and build something awesome!

Our Glenray Lifestyle & Learning woodworking group has been hard at work finishing their latest creations. From the initial idea to the final polish, everyone learns how to plan, build, and bring their vision to life.

It’s the favourite day of the week for learning new skills, connecting with friends, and taking home a project to be proud of!

It's finally race week here in Bathurst and Glenray are all revved up to see who will be crowned King of the Mountain for 2026! 🏁 🏆️ ⛰️

Our staff and participants have been working hard to complete their displays in preparation for the great race. This year we chose to back Red Bull Racing's Will Brown and Scott Pye!
