Introducing H**p Activewear to Thank You Mother!

In our search for natural fiber activewear we came across H**p pioneers Jungmaven from California USA. They make their clothing in California, partially from US grown h**p, with aims to be 100% US grown & made in the near future. The quality, style and colours of their garments are leading the way in the h**p market, and we’re stoked to now have them in store!

You can now see a small collection of h**p & organic cotton leggings and bralettes at Thank You Mother Bermagui, or on the web store in Black, Olive Green, Coffee Bean, Teal & Sky Blue.

Plant dyed range details : natural colours 🌿 & optional embroidery 🧵

Plant dyes are derived from all natural, sources such as the barks, nuts, leaves and tannins of the plant kingdom. See the list below for where our colours come from, all hand dyed in Victoria by the amazing .moth !
This is in contrast to nearly all other clothing which is dyed with chemically sourced synthetic dyes - which are awesome for colour - but not so good for our skin or environment.

Our colours are derived from:

Deep Space: Indigofera tinctoria, Madder root & Iron
Olive: Onion skins & Gall nut
Chartreuse: Marigold petals
Indigo: Indigofera tinctoria
Mushroom: Black Walnut
Pinot: Cutch (Acacia Wood), Madder root
Eggplant: Madder root, Iron
Scarlet: Madder root & Marigold petals

Our very first collection! Plant Dyed, Premium H**p Tees - available in Women’s & Men’s fits - see them online & in-store now.

We spent many moons laboring over the details, trying to create the perfect T-Shirt we could see in our minds eye 👁️‍🗨️

- 55% H**p, 45% Organic Cotton midweight premium jersey fabric
- All natural cotton sewing threads and labels = 100% plastic free garment
- Chemical free botanical dyes created and dyed by Empress Moth in Victoria, AUS.
(clothing dyes are usually synthetic chemical based, not good for our skin or the waterways - so this was an important one for us)
- The perfect slightly boxier fit for men, and cropped fit for women (although please choose your own adventure)

We are very proud of these, and will be stocking them as a staple going forward. However the natural colours will change with the seasons, so get yours soon!

Pretty stoked and honoured to have Nolan’s beautiful creations in shop! 💖

Nolan is a 3rd generation wood worker and salvages local timber to make his unique pieces. You can feel the care and joy that goes into his artwork 🌼

He also runs workshops! So you can learn how to make your very own spoon! This months workshop is full but the next one is June 14th 10-2 PM at Jai Yoga Studio. More information at 🪵
