Today was meant to be a day filled with excitement across Newcastle as we come together for Grand Final Day and get behind our Knights. ❤️💙

But before we talk footy, we want to acknowledge the tragic accident in Wallsend yesterday.

Our heartfelt thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the victims, their families and loved ones, and everyone who has been impacted. We’re also thinking of the emergency services, first responders, healthcare workers and members of our community who responded during an incredibly difficult situation.

What should have been an exciting weekend for our community has been overshadowed by heartbreak, and today we hold those affected close in our thoughts. ❤️

As Newcastle comes together today, we do so with a little more perspective, a lot more compassion, and an even stronger sense of community.

To our Knights — we’ll be behind you every step of the way today.

Last night, the Piggotts Healthcare team had the privilege of attending the Local Business Awards, and what a wonderful night it was! ✨

We were incredibly proud to attend as a finalist in the Specialised Business category, alongside our CEO, Kurt Luttenberger, who was also recognised as a finalist for Business Person of the Year. 👏🧡

While we didn’t take home an award this year, being named as finalists is something we are genuinely grateful for and proud of. To have the work of our team and our commitment to the people we support recognised within our local community means so much to us.

A huge congratulations to all of the finalists and winners! 🎉 It was fantastic to be surrounded by so many passionate, hardworking and inspiring local businesses and individuals.

And of course, a massive thank you to our incredible staff, participants, families and supporters — Piggotts Healthcare wouldn’t be what it is without all of you. 🧡
