More than 1,000 industry professionals gathered at The Star Brisbane on Saturday night for the REIQ 2026 Awards for Excellence, celebrating the individuals and agencies setting the benchmark for professional excellence across the state.

From residential sales and property management to auctioneering, commercial real estate, buyer’s agency, business broking and innovation, this year’s winners represent the pinnacle of achievement in real estate.

It’s been a big day at REIQ HQ, with a new Board of Directors announced and the formal appointment of new Life Members at the 2026 AGM.

Peter Camphin has been returned as General Member Director and will continue as REIQ Chair, Daniel Burrett has been appointed Regional Director, and Lauren Brewer joins the Board as Young Director.

Bringing together decades of leadership, industry expertise and fresh perspectives, the Board is well placed to help guide Queensland real estate into the future.

The AGM also saw Peter Brewer and Doug Disher inducted as REIQ Life Members in recognition of their exceptional service to the profession and the Institute.

Outgoing Regional Director Andrew Acton was thanked for his contribution and commitment to ensuring regional voices were represented at the Board table.
