If you’ve ever finished a fully booked week, felt exhausted, and wondered why you’ve got nothing to show for it except a tax bill… babe, this one’s for you 🧡
One of the biggest money mistakes I see beauty owners make is thinking “my salon made $60K this month” means “I made $60K this month.”
You didn’t. Your salon made revenue. And that money has a job to do first: wages, rent, stock, GST, tax, super, the quiet months. Then it pays you.
For years I got this so wrong. Good week? Spend it. Quiet week? Panic. My mood literally depended on how much I’d made that day.
Paying myself a set wage every week, no matter what the salon did, changed everything. For the first time, I actually felt secure.
But my profits didn’t start growing until I set up a weekly direct debit into a separate profit account. Profit comes out first, automatically. Not whatever’s left over (because let’s be honest, there’s never anything left over 🙃).
No more spending in December like it’s December forever. No more panicking in January. No more calling my dad crying at tax time.
This is exactly what I’m teaching inside The Done Chasing Mentorship: how to pay yourself properly, every week, without the panic.
Comment WAITLIST and I’ll send you the details for 9 Nov 🧡
