Music Beat Australia (in Brisbane) provides community music groups, music lessons, and music therapy. We even offer lessons for parents too!

Music Beat Kids (the home of Boppin’ Babies) is a music early learning program designed by Dr Vicky Abad, a Registered and tertiary qualified music therapist and early childhood education researcher. Music Beat Therapy Services provides music therapy services for children and adults of all abilities, ages and backgrounds. Music Beat Lessons and Tuition offers piano, guitar, and singing lessons for primary and secondary school aged children. We also offer music early learning programs and group music programs for childcare centres, kindergartens, community groups, corporates and local governments,

🎶 School Holiday Programs – We Want to Hear From You!

We're busy planning some exciting opportunities for the upcoming school holidays and would love your input.

We're exploring opportunities to expand our services through satellite and pop-up clinic locations, alongside additional holiday programs focused on:

🎵 School readiness – supporting confidence, independence and the transition to school through playful, music-based experiences.

🎵 Social connection – creating opportunities to build friendships, connect with peers and make music together.

🎵 Emotional regulation and wellbeing – exploring feelings, self-expression and regulation through music and creativity.

🎵 Creative music-making – having fun through songwriting, jamming, instrument exploration and more!

We'd love to hear from families about the types of programs they'd be interested in, as well as locations that would make accessing our services easier.

🎨 Exciting opportunities coming to Music Beat!

We're excited to share that Music Beat Therapy Services will be welcoming Occupational Therapy students at the end of Term 4!

This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to participate in activities supported by OT students, while providing valuable hands-on learning experiences for the next generation of allied health professionals.

🎶 Join us for our End of Year Open Mic Morning!

This year, we're changing things up! Instead of our traditional end-of-year concert, we're inviting our Music Beat community to come together for a relaxed morning of music-making to celebrate the end of another wonderful year!

Whether you'd like to perform a favourite song, join in a group jam or simply enjoy making music with others, we'd love to see you there!

Our Registered Music Therapists will be on hand to support performances and make music alongside everyone.

BREAKING NEWS: Nundah Thursday MELP families you now have your very own coffee cart!! ☕️The lovely folks at North East Baptist, where we hold our music groups, are opening the coffee cart from 8:45-11:15am each Thursday!.

🎶 Changing the Tune is expanding!

We're excited to share that our FREE music program for young people aged 12–17 is now reaching more communities through PCYC Queensland!

📍 You can now find us at PCYC Inala, Caboolture, Zillmere and Deception Bay

Changing the Tune provides a fun, supportive and inclusive space for young people to explore music, express themselves and connect with others.

Through jamming, songwriting and making music together, young people can:
🎵 Build confidence and friendships
🎵 Explore ways to manage big feelings and stress
🎵 Express themselves creatively
🎵 Support their mental health and wellbeing

No musical experience needed – just come along and give it a go!

The program welcomes neurodivergent young people and those experiencing challenges in different areas of their lives.
