Pull the Bowstring is a section in Ren Yuan - the beautiful movement method within the Yuan Gong Qigong system.

This very helpful for the lung and heart health. Lungs are in charge of all the Qi (life force) of the whole body so is very important for the whole body’s qi condition. The heart governs the blood and is also where our spiritual heart is. If we are often emotionally disturbed we lose a lot of Qi. This movement helps to calm the emotions.
The hand form helps the liver, gallbladder, large intestine by stretching their Qi channels and improving Qi flow to these organs.

So easy to learn and is a fun posture with so many benefits.

My design approach is guided by a love of natural landscapes and a belief that gardens should not only be visually beautiful, but also restorative—places that support wellbeing, connection, and a sense of peace. The result is leafy, harmonious spaces that you love to be in.

I found myself considering the property as a whole system: the street number and its significance in numerology, the street name and the frequency that words can carry, proximity to phone towers, the presence of underground water, ley lines, historical influences, and the energetic footprints left by human activity over time.

What continues to fascinate me is how a site speaks.

At the end of the day, my advice to this person was positive. And also recommended to pay attention to how they feel when they enter a property. Every real estate agent knows that property decisions are rarely made on logic alone—they are overwhelmingly driven by feeling.

What I’m increasingly coming to understand is that this feeling is not necessarily a coincidence. We are constantly perceiving information beyond what we consciously recognise, often sensing things that we struggle to put into words.

Another interesting observation is the idea that we are often drawn to energies that feel familiar. I’ve seen this pattern repeatedly, both professionally and personally. For example, someone with a tendency towards accumulation or hoarding may feel strangely comfortable on land that exhibits qualities of stagnation, such as areas associated with certain types of underground water.

Whether you view these things through the lens of energy, psychology, intuition, environment, or simply human perception, I believe there is far more influencing our relationship with place than we commonly acknowledge.

My work is energetic, scientific, and heart-based. I work with the laws of energy, or Qi, of the land, elevating and uplifting places for all through methods and intention. It’s that easy.

Land healing is for homeowners, landowners, property developers, architects, real estate agents, and businesses seeking harmonious and healthy sanctuaries for their families, workspaces, connection to the landscape, or when buying and selling property.

How Does It Work?

Firstly, you send me your address, information about the property, and what you’re wanting help with.

Then, I sit with your map remotely and tune into the areas that don’t feel right. I map out what I find and remove energetic disruptions. The site is infused with high-vibrational energy and intention. The property feels lighter, creating a greater sense of ease and resulting in many successful outcomes.

What’s the Outcome?

• Sudden resolution of a situation
• The property feels much better
• Smoother and faster developments
• Higher returns and attracting more interest
• Removal of paranormal activity
• Happier and healthier families and animals

Heart qualities

In Ren Xue Qigong the form of practice I do, the heart plays a central role in our personal growth and wellbeing.

The five essential heart qualities—Trust, Openness, Love, Gratitude, and Gongjing (true respect and humility)—are natural qualities we are all born with. They form the foundation for building a kind, peaceful, and healthy relationship with ourselves and others and the world around us.

We’ve all heard these words before. But do we truly know them? Do we embody them? And can we see the conditions we place upon them?

It is important to find these qualities within ourselves and nurture them.

Take trust, for example.

Many of us struggle to trust the way things will turn out. One way I practice trust is by connecting with a feeling that represents it. For me, it’s knowing that the sun will rise in the morning and set again at the end of the day. Or trust in the simple and automatic act of breathing.

That feels certain, doesn’t it?

Of course the sun will come up. Of course I will take another breath.

That feeling—that quiet certainty—is trust.

Now consider the contrast.

You have a job interview tomorrow. What feelings arise? Anxiety? Doubt? Excitement? Can you trust that whatever happens, you’ll be okay? Can you trust yourself enough to show up fully?

And what about when life doesn’t go your way? When someone says something hurtful, when plans fall apart, or when things feel unfair?

Can you remain in a state of trust?

Or do you get the wobbles?

Perhaps the practice isn’t trusting that everything will go the way we want. Perhaps it’s trusting ourselves to meet whatever comes with an open heart. Practice trusting the sun and trusting the breath.

They so much research around the beneficial effects that the presence of trees has on us. The ability to calm the nervous system ground us and bring a sense of awe. They can positively impact blood pressure, reduce cortisol, lower heart rate and improve your mood. They also form a communication network between one another, like holding hands, trees communicate with one another, they know when one is sick and one is cut removed. In land healing you can feel where there has been a significant tree from the past that still has an energy field. This energy is heavy and sad, often bringing people to tears, and by a land healing this pocket of information is resolved and cleared making the area feel much better. It’s amazing how the invisible can be having an impact on us. I was at a site the other day that just felt really flat and life less, if has this significant tree feeling. I happened to look at the street view and there was an enormous tree next door which had obviously been removed to make way for a new building. This confirmed town at I had already known. This would impact both properties and beyond as well due to this connected underground communication system that trees have

This is me: I have a holistic practice with the health of your land, home, and individual at its heart. A unique blending of landscape design, energetic land healing, and the ancient practice of Ren Xue Qigong.

Land healing is the process of identifying and rebalancing underlying disturbances within a property that can affect health, relationships, and purpose. These disturbances may include man-made or natural geopathic stress, underground water, stagnant energy from past occupants, site trauma, or naturally occurring negative ley lines. When these influences are brought back into balance, the result is a calmer, more settled, and supportive environment, enhancing both the experience of the space and the wellbeing of those who live within it.

With over 20 years experience I create gardens that intuitively translate each client’s vision into landscapes that are functional, spatially aware, and deeply connected to the surroundings.

My design approach is guided by a love of natural landscapes and a belief that gardens should not only be visually beautiful, but also restorative—places that support wellbeing, connection, and a sense of peace. The result is leafy, harmonious spaces that feel both purposeful and effortless.

Ren Xue combines ancient wisdom and modern science in a remarkable form of Qigong. Using gentle movement practices and healing meditations, it supports physical health, helps resolve unhealthy patterns of thinking and feeling, and enhances our enjoyment of life. Trained and qualified in all six levels of Ren Xue, I draw on these profound teachings as the foundation of all my work and am available for private or group tuition.

Together, these complementary practices allow me to transform the land, deepen your connection with it, and enrich your experience of both place and self.

Creating deeply nurturing places to live, gather, and reconnect with ourselves and the earth.
