A bittersweet week at Sydney Injury Specialists as we say goodbye (for now!) to Clare as she begins her maternity leave. 🤍
Clare has been such an incredible asset to our team, bringing so much knowledge, compassion, and positivity to every client she works with. Her dedication to helping people move better and feel stronger has made a lasting impact on both her clients and our team.
While we'll certainly miss having her around the clinic, we're so excited for this next chapter for her and her growing family.
Can't wait to meet your little one and look forward to welcoming you back to the SIS team when the time is right. 💚

Big news 📣

Sydney Injury Specialists is growing, and we couldn't be more excited.

We're expanding our team to give our clients even greater access to the care they deserve. More availability. More expertise. More opportunity to move better, recover stronger, and get back to doing what they love.

This is what we're here for. Helping people rebuild confidence in their bodies. Returning to the sports and activities that matter most. Living fuller, healthier lives without being held back by injury.

We've always believed great allied health is about more than reducing pain. It's about understanding the person behind the injury and delivering care that genuinely changes outcomes.

Now we're taking that even further.

Strong Bones 💪✨

This April, Sydney Injury Specialists is hosting our signature Osteoporosis Workshop for the 7th time, and we couldn’t be prouder of the community it has created.

Over the past courses, we’ve trained 100+ women and men to lift weights in a way that is both progressive and safe, building bone strength while learning to genuinely enjoy the process of lifting.

This workshop is designed to empower all with the confidence, knowledge, and technique to train properly for bone health.

✔️ Open to new and returning members
✔️ Sporting Club of Sydney members and guests welcome

Spots are extremely limited (our last course had a waitlist!), so if you’re interested please contact Matisse to secure your place.

Let’s keep building stronger bones, together. 🦴✨

✨ 1. Improves How Your Body Uses Insulin
Exercise helps your body become more sensitive to insulin, which is super important for managing PCOS. Even if you don’t lose weight, regular movement helps your muscles use sugar better—this means better energy and fewer insulin spikes.

✨ 2. Helps Balance Hormones
Working out can help lower testosterone levels by boosting a protein called SHBG that keeps excess hormones in check. Exercise also reduces insulin levels, which can help bring your hormone levels closer to balance. Some women even find their periods become more regular over time with consistent movement.

✨ 3. Supports Heart Health & Body Composition
Regular exercise helps reduce belly fat, even without major weight loss. It’s also great for your heart and boosts fitness levels overall. Plus, it helps your muscles work better at using energy, which supports your metabolism.

✨ 4. Boosts Mental Health & Quality of Life
Struggling with mood, stress, or body image? Exercise has been shown to help reduce anxiety and depression in women with PCOS. It can also help you feel more in control of your health, body, and overall wellbeing.
