Kwaba Bidi is an Aboriginal community driven program focusing on foster care and is part of South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) in Western Australia’s South West, who service and empower the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community who live and work on Wadandi Country.

❤ Building Connections in Bindjareb ❤

As Kwaba Bidi moves closer towards starting operations in the Bindjareb region for the first time, we are working hard to build our connections within community.

Earlier this month, we joined other organisations for a joint Bindjareb Yarning Circle and Peel Region Youth Services Network meeting at Winjan Aboriginal Corporation.

It was great chance to yarn about the Bindjareb Support Network and the services we will soon be offering across the region.

Today is a bittersweet day for our Regional Family Support Hub partner Key Assets Australia, who have said goodbye to Brenda, their WA State Director.

Brenda was there from the start with our RFSH partnership, and we thank her for her contributions to turning the partnership into a reality.

She was kind enough to visit our Bunbury office one final time earlier this week to say farewell to both Key Assets and Kwaba Bidi staff.

We wish Brenda all the best of luck with her future endeavours and we will miss her warm smile.
