Someone in our community recently left a review on Clickability about our team member Jamison.

"His care, professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile are a real asset to his clients."

Thank you. Hearing that our people make a difference to the people they work with means a lot to all of us at APM.

Voting for the Clickability Awards closes today. If you've had a good experience with our team, we'd love your support: https://awards.clickability.com.au/providers/all-plan-management

Lovely to meet you, Abbey! 💙

Our APM's Partnerships & Business Development Manager, Hayley, had a great catch-up with Abbey from Kind & Collaborative Empowerment last week, chatting about the NDIS community and how we can support participants and families together.

We love connecting with people across the sector, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.

Thanks for your time, Abbey. Let’s keep the conversation going!

Some NDIS support budgets have started to change.

Starting from 1 October, under the new NDIS laws, budgets will be reduced for Social Economic and Community Participation and Improved Daily Living Skills. Not all supports in these categories are affected. You can check which are on the NDIS website.

𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰:
Your budget will only be reduced when your plan is reassessed from 1 October 2026 or renewed from 1 February 2027. If your plan isn't due for reassessment until 1 October 2027 or later, your reassessment date will be brought forward, with 60 days' notice. Keep using your plan funding as normal.

From February 2027, unused funds will no longer roll over automatically into your next plan.

That's because a new plan renewal process will replace plan continuation when your plan reaches its reassessment date. Your current plan doesn't change today.

So before renewal, it's worth knowing how much you've spent in each category and how much is left. Ask your plan manager, support coordinator or planner for a budget update, and talk through whether your funding is being used the way you planned.

Want a clearer picture of your funding? Talk to our team about plan management. Full guide in the comments.

The NDIS reforms are officially underway. 📅

The new NDIS laws passed in August 2026, and the changes are being rolled out gradually between now and 2030. Your current plan and supports haven't changed. Some practical changes are coming up soon, though.

One of the first is the claiming time limit. From December 2026, NDIS claims need to be made within 90 days of a support being delivered. Right now, the limit is 2 years.

What this means for you:
🔹 Plan-managed participants: Your provider sends us the invoice, and we pay it and claim the funds for you. Prompt invoices mean smooth payments.
🔹 Providers: Send your invoices in soon after you deliver a support, so there's time to process them within the new window.
🔹 Self-managed participants: Keep on top of your own claims so nothing slips past the 90 days.

We'll keep sharing the reform changes as they roll out, one step at a time, in simple terms. Want the full picture? Read our NDIS Reforms 2026 guide here ⬇️

Last week, our team joined the Stronger Together Gold Coast Community Event, by Aruma.

It was a great opportunity to connect with local organisations, support services and families, and to share how plan management fits into the broader picture of support for NDIS participants.

Our team, Hayley and Melissa, were there representing APM and connecting with the community throughout the day.

Thank you to Aruma for bringing everyone together and creating such a welcoming space for collaboration! Big thanks to Healthy Emporium, Vera Living, Wellways Australia, Down Syndrome & Intellectual Disability Queensland, LME Care, Kismet Community and Mudgeeraba Special School for the knowledge, conversations and connections on the day.

It was such and great day and it did remind us how much stronger our sector is, when we work together. We look forward to more of them!

Let's stay connected and keep the conversation going. Follow All Plan Management or call us on 0417 713 272 if you'd like to know more about our plan management.

We're proud to be nominated for NDIS Provider Awards by Clickability, and the good news is, voting is still open with a bit of time left to have your say.

Here's how it works: head to our provider page, pop in your email (takes seconds), and cast your vote in as many categories as you like, including Best Plan Management Provider.

Every vote helps show the NDIS community that plan management can be simple, reliable and genuinely supportive. Voting closes 15 October 2026, so don't miss your chance.

One of the biggest questions about the new NDIS laws is simple: when do they actually kick in? Here's a quick the timeline.

Right now: nothing changes. Keep using your plan and supports as usual.

Coming weeks: a small number of changes begin, mostly behind-the-scenes process updates.

From October 2026: some funding and support budget settings start to be updated progressively, this doesn't happen for everyone at once.

Over the next few years: the bigger reforms, like changes to how people access the NDIS, roll out gradually, with ongoing consultation with the disability community.

The NDIS has said it will publish detailed information on its website as each change approaches, so you know exactly what to expect and when. We'll do the same here.

R U OK? Day is today, 10 September, but this year's message is bigger than one day: Ask R U OK? Any Day. Every conversation matters, because it can change a life, whenever you have it.

If someone's been on your mind, here's a simple way in:
1. Ask R U OK?
2.. Listen with an open mind
3. Encourage action
4. Check in

You don't need to be an expert. Just a good friend and a great listener.

Who's on your mind today? That's a reason enough to ask.
