🧡 OUR FRIEND DANU NEEDS OUR HELP 🧡

Many of you in the local music scene and our wider community will know and love the wonderful Danu Lynch - Being Love, also known to many as Kelly Lynch.

Danu has been part of several of our Lotus fundraising events, generously sharing her talent behind the decks and donating incredible DJ packages to our silent auctions. She’s an all round beautiful human and a special part of the community that brings us together through music, kindness and connection.

Now, Danu is facing a challenging journey of her own, and we’d love to rally around her.

Earlier this year, Danu was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma, a benign tumour near the brain stem that affects the nerves responsible for hearing, balance and facial movement. She is now pursuing a carefully considered treatment pathway, working with her medical team, and will need to step back from work over the coming year to focus on her health and recovery.

As a DJ and musician, music is so much more than a job for Danu, it’s her livelihood, her passion and a huge part of who she is.

She has spent years giving so much to our community. Now, it’s our turn to show her some love.

🙏 If you’re able to donate, any amount will help support Danu with treatment costs, specialist care and living expenses while she focuses on her health. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing her fundraiser is another powerful way to help spread the word.

Early access to palliative care can help people live more comfortably, maintain independence, make informed decisions, and focus on what matters most to them, while ensuring families receive the support they need along the way.
