💙 We did it! 💙
Our team has officially crossed the finish line for The Long Run 2026, and thanks to the incredible support of our community, we raised $2,854, exceeding our fundraising goal of $2,000, and collectively travelled more than 400km along the way!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, shared our campaign, cheered us on and helped raise awareness for an issue that impacts so many Australian men and their families.
This cause is particularly close to our hearts. Through the work of Northern Urology and Far North Day Hospital, we see firsthand the impact prostate cancer has on patients across Far North Queensland. Raising awareness, encouraging early detection and supporting ongoing research and patient care are all vital in improving outcomes for men in our community.
Thank you for helping us make a difference. Together, we've raised awareness, started important conversations and helped support the incredible work of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. 💙

IMS is proud to support the incredible work the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation is doing to bring public ECMO to our region. This is a fantastic example of what can be achieved when our community works together.

It's a pretty amazing thing when clinicians dig deep to support our projects.

Particularly as they already give so much of themselves and also when the project doesn't directly benefit their department.

But we have seen exactly that with Integrated Medical Services, represented by Dr Stefan Antoniou and guest Dr Aza Mohammad at our annual dinner, recently.

Their commitment to our community was on show yet again, with a $10,000 donation towards bringing ECMO to Far North Queensland.

ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) is a temporary, advanced life-support therapy that takes over the work of the heart and lungs, pumping blood outside the body, adding oxygen and removing carbon dioxide. It gives critically ill patients time - time for their organs to rest and heal.
