If you’re good at coping, you can get very good at ignoring what would actually help you recover.
So answer the question honestly:
What’s the thing you keep thinking about doing for yourself, but never quite let yourself do?
Not what sounds productive or looks good.
What would actually feel like relief?
Your body usually knows what it needs before your schedule agrees.
What’s the thing you keep craving but keep postponing?
More sleep?
A day alone?
Turning your phone off?
Cancelling plans?
Going away?
Doing absolutely nothing?
Name it.
You were never meant to live predominately in output. Receiving is part of regulation.
