Let’s Talk Head Lice! 🪮

Those little bugs in the hair can be annoying, but head lice are common and usually manageable with the right treatment.

🔍 What causes head lice?
Head lice are tiny insects that live on the scalp and feed on blood. They spread mainly through direct head-to-head contact. Having head lice is not a sign of poor hygiene.

💡 Tips to manage head lice:
✅ Check the hair and scalp carefully, especially around the ears and the back of the neck
✅ Use a suitable head-lice treatment and follow the product instructions carefully
✅ Use a fine-toothed lice comb to help remove lice and nits
✅ Check household contacts and treat anyone who has live lice
✅ Avoid sharing combs, brushes, hats and other items that touch the hair
✅ Repeat treatment when recommended to help eliminate newly hatched lice
